About Quick Hit Link Fire Slot
The headline meter ticks while you spin. Two progressive pools sit at the top of the screen, polled live about once a second so the GRAND number visibly creeps higher between presses of the spin button. That's the structural inversion from the sibling Quick Hit Link 888 Red title - this Fire variant ditches the fixed jackpot ceiling and ties its two top tiers to a community pool that grows with every wager across the network and resets only when someone trips the trigger.
Trigger is the same Quick Hit count system the franchise has used since the original Bally cabinet, but the top of the ladder is what changed. Eleven scattered Quick Hit symbols hit the MAJOR pool, twelve or more hit the GRAND. Below that, counts of three through ten pay fixed stake multipliers from 1x up to 50x. Each Quick Hit also lands stamped with its own cash value of 1x to 20x bet, and the total payout adds those displayed amounts to the count-based award - so a 7-count round combines the 10x base with whatever individual values landed on the seven symbols themselves.
Free Spins run on three coin colours, and the colour you trigger with rewrites what the round actually does. A Green $ gives 7 spins with up to three Green Firecrackers overlaying reel 5 each spin, each fully-revealed cracker adding +1 spin to a cap of 25. A Red $ gives 7 spins on an expanded 6x5 grid instead of the base 5x3, which widens every payline window and creates more positions for Quick Hits to scatter into. A Purple $ injects 3 to 15 random Quick Hit symbols onto the grid every spin, so the count-based jackpot ladder is in play on every single round. Land two or three coin colours in the same triggering spin and the variants combine: Green plus Red runs Extra Spins on the expanded grid, Purple plus Red drops random Quick Hits across 6x5, and so on. Coin symbols transform into Double 7, Cherry or 5Bar before line evaluation, so triggering coins also pay as line symbols.
No buy bonus, no ante, no gamble. The Light & Wonder Link series leaves the progressive pool alone on purpose, which means the only way into the GRAND is the 12-Quick-Hit landing itself. Visually the cabinet leans hard on its Vegas heritage - flaming red 7s, BAR and 5BAR icons, cherries, a bell, a gold reels-stamped Wild diamond - all sat against an inferno-orange backdrop with the three coloured $ signs hovering above the grid spitting flame particles. The Quick Hit branded scatter pops up mid-reel with its cash value printed on the face, a $4.00 stamp on a single Quick Hit doing more for tension than any animation does.
