About Rainbow & Clover 7 Slot
The diagonal trigger is where this game separates itself from standard scatter-based bonus logic. Three Leprechaun hats anywhere on the grid isn't enough. The hats have to land simultaneously on positions 1, 5, and 9 - the top-left, dead center, and bottom-right cells forming a perfect falling diagonal across the compact 3x3 board. Any other arrangement produces no trigger, regardless of how many hats land. It's a structural wrinkle YGR rarely uses, and it meaningfully drops the Free Games entry rate compared to typical three-scatter-anywhere mechanics.
Cluster pays drive the base math, which is itself unusual on a 3x3 board. Most cluster slots run 5x5 or 6x6 grids where the 9-symbol threshold feels achievable. Here you only get 9 cells total, so the paytable caps at a full-grid 9-of-a-kind and the tier jumps are steep. At the 0.20 stake, three matching top-symbol Blue 7s pay 0.60, four pay 1.00, five pay 2.00, six pay 4.00, and it rockets from there: seven for 10.00, eight for 20.00, and a full-grid match of nine pays 200.00 - the 1,000x top multiplier. The ladder sits on the left rail as a permanent visual reference, which is a useful piece of UI design you don't see in most cluster games.
The Free Games round is where the hold-lock mechanic takes over. Five spins award on trigger. Blue Pots landing during the round immediately convert to Gold Pots, lock in their current position, and stay locked for the remainder of the session - plus each Blue Pot awards an additional 1 to 3 random free spins. The locked Gold Pots accumulate position by position across the spins, and if the grid fills completely with nine Gold Pots (the "Rainbow Gold Pot" state the intro art references) the round settles at the 1,000x max. Pots in the base game don't lock and don't convert - they're just regular pay symbols until the Free Games context activates the conversion logic.
No wilds, no multipliers, no buy bonus, no ante bet. The whole feature weight sits on that one hold-lock round, which keeps the experience tight. Visual layout is deep green gradient background strewn with tiny four-leaf clovers, the reel chassis framed in gold wooden trim, Blue 7 tiles with embedded clover leaves, fruit symbols for the low tier (watermelon slices, lemons with leaves, purple grape bunches), green clovers for the mid, and the Pot of Gold tiles showing a rainbow arcing above each one. Irish luck theme done minimal and clean. Bet range 0.20 to 50.00.
