Ryze builds its entire payout structure around Multiplier Wilds. When a winning cluster of five or more identical symbols explodes during the cascade, a x1 wild appears in the gap. If that wild joins the next winning cluster, its multiplier ticks up to x2. And if two wilds end up in the same cluster, their multipliers add together before applying to the win - a x3 and x5 become x8, multiplied against the whole payout. Then they merge into a single, stronger wild.
This merging system means wilds compound fast during long cascade chains. Three separate x1 wilds created in successive avalanches might collide into a single x6 by round's end. In the bonus, where wilds stick between free drops, the numbers climb even further.
The playing field uses an offset hex-style layout - alternating columns of 5 and 6 rows, similar to the Cygnus format. Symbols don't spin on reels; they drop with gravity and slide sideways to fill gaps after clusters explode. Six payout symbols form the cluster-pay system, requiring five or more connected identical symbols (horizontally or vertically adjacent) to trigger a win.
Coins act as blockers on the grid but carry bet-multiplier values. When coin clusters form, their values aggregate into a single larger coin. If a Multiplier Wild sits in that coin cluster, the total gets multiplied. A cluster of three coins worth 2x, 5x, and 10x next to a x4 wild pays (17x times 4) = 68x in one hit.
Burst symbols sit dormant during normal cascades. They only activate at the end of a round, after all wins and avalanches have resolved. When triggered, each Burst transforms itself and all adjacent symbols into either the same payout symbol or coins, creating one final shot at a winning cluster. Adjacent Burst symbols chain-react off each other, so a cluster of three Bursts transforms a wide area.
It's a safety valve for rounds that stall. No cascades left? Bursts fire and might restart the chain. The Coin Burst X-iter option at 25x bet guarantees a Burst in the first drop and forces all Bursts to produce coins instead of payout symbols - a coin-farming mode.
Triggering the bonus works differently than a standard scatter count. A Bonus symbol must physically drop through the grid and reach a key mould positioned below the columns. Gravity and cascades determine whether it makes it down. Seven free drops with sticky Multiplier Wilds. Retrigger by landing another bonus in the key mould for +3 drops.
The Super Bonus requires reaching a Super key mould instead. Same 7 free drops, but both coins and Multiplier Wilds stick between rounds. Sticky coins accumulate value over multiple drops while growing wilds multiply them. That combination is where the 10,000x ceiling lives.
Five X-iter tiers range from Bonus Hunt at 2x (tripled trigger chance) up to guaranteed Super Bonus at 500x. Wild Concoction at 10x pre-loads Multiplier Wilds onto the grid before the first drop - useful when you want to skip the buildup phase entirely.
