About Samba Spins Slot

Two reels matter on this cabinet and three don't. The Wild only appears on reels 2 and 4, and whenever it lands it stretches to cover all three positions of that column, then substitutes for everything except the Scatter. Reels 1, 3 and 5 never see a Wild at all, base game or bonus. That narrow placement is the engine's defining quirk: you're effectively spinning a 5x3 where the middle and second-from-right are the only columns ever doing substitution work, and the math is built around that asymmetry.

The other thing worth catching before you spin is the paytable's generosity at the top end. The Female Samba Dancer and the Male Samba Dancer both pay from two of a kind, not three, which is unusual on a 50-line cabinet and means the headline characters connect on a payline far more often than the icons suggest. Five Female Dancers on a line drops 8,000 coins per line at base bet, and inside the bonus that figure doubles. The Drum, Maracas and Whistle pay the standard 3-of-a-kind onwards, and the card values (A and K share a payout tier, Q and J share a lower one) round out the low end.

Three Scatters anywhere open Free Spins at 10, four at 15, five at 20. Every win during the round runs at a flat x2 multiplier, the bet stays locked, and the Scatter can retrigger from inside. The Expanding Wild on reels 2 and 4 stays active throughout, which is the only path to the theoretical ceiling of 16,000 coins per line on a fully-Wild-assisted top combo. There's no buy bonus, no ante side bet, no jackpot ladder, no second feature path. Just the one bonus, the asymmetric Wild placement, and the unusually friendly top-symbol paytable.

Visually the cabinet floats against a deep purple Brazilian carnival night sky. White spotlight beams cut across the upper edge, fireworks burst behind the reels, and confetti rains down both side margins in purple, pink, yellow and blue paper streamers settling onto a wooden parade-stage floor. The "Samba Spins" header is set in flowing pink-orange neon-cursive script, like a Mardi Gras parade banner. The card-value symbols are the visual stand-out: each letter is bright red, sat inside an oval ringed by golden incandescent bulbs (Vegas showtime marquee style), with multi-coloured starburst rays radiating behind. One thing worth flagging on the cabinet itself: the default bet is set at $12.50, which is 20% of the maximum, so the slider opens far higher than most Genii titles. Worth pulling down before the first spin if you're playing for stretch rather than volatility.
