About Show Me The Honey Slot
Two scatters do completely different jobs here, and one of them breaks a Genii convention worth flagging upfront. The hexagonal Free Spins scatter awards 8, 12 or 16 spins for 3, 4 or 5 anywhere on the reels, and it retriggers from inside the round. The Beehive scatter triggers a separate honeycomb-cell pick game where each cell you tap reveals a prize multiplied by the triggering total bet. The unusual part: the Beehive can also fire during Free Spins. Most Genii titles lock their secondary bonus out of the free-spin round, so getting both running at once is rare and stacks the prize budgets.
The Wild is a cartoon bee in sunglasses sitting inside a single golden honeycomb cell. It subs for everything except the two scatters and pays nothing on its own, which is true for the Random Wild too. That Random Wild only exists inside Free Spins, dropping onto a position to turn it Wild for that one spin. Neither Wild carries a multiplier, and the free-spin round doesn't add a global one either, so all the volatility comes from substitution working with the long top-end payouts on the paytable.
And those payouts are steep. The Queen Bee / Pink Hibiscus tops the line symbols at 2,000 coins per line for five of a kind, but the drop to four-of-a-kind is 300 coins, an 85% step down. So a single five-symbol hit on a max-paying line dwarfs almost everything else the base game produces. Below it sit four flowers and a worker bee, then the card values, which are where the art commits hardest. A, K, Q and J are each built out of arrangements of golden hexagonal honeycomb cells, so every low-pay icon on the grid carries the bee theme rather than slapping plain letters into a meadow scene.
The cabinet floats with no border against a cyan summer sky stacked over a tall-grass wildflower meadow with daisies, dandelions and yellow butterflies along the bottom edge. No buy bonus, no jackpot, no ante. The 40 lines are player-adjustable down to 1, which is a holdover from the legacy Saucify engine this Genii build runs on, and most modern players will leave them maxed.
