Slayers Inc Slot Overview
Land the Best of Bonus symbol alongside your scatters and the game plays three complete bonus rounds back to back, records what each one paid on a scoreboard beside the grid, and then awards you the highest of the three.
Not the total. The best. Two disappointing rounds cost you nothing at all, because they are simply discarded in favour of the good one.
That structure is genuinely rare, and it sits on top of a solid DuelReels game where an expanded reel shows two slayers with competing multipliers up to 500x and one of them survives to take the whole column wild. 5x4 with 14 paylines, 96.28%, 15,000x in every mode.
Theme & Design
Dystopian and openly menacing. The game introduces itself with a threat: we will look for you, we will find you, and we will slay you.
Our look at it recorded the mechanics rather than a full visual tour, so the honest description ends there.
Two things do matter on screen. An expanded VS reel displays both slayers and both multipliers before the duel resolves, so you can see exactly what is at stake. And in the Best of Bonus rounds, a scoreboard outside the grid keeps the running record of what each of your three attempts produced.
Symbols & Paytable
| Symbol | Payout |
|---|---|
| Duel multiplier | 2x to 500xSixteen values. Several duels in one win have their values added, then applied |
| Wild and VS | 10xFive of a kind. Both substitute for everything |
| Premium symbol | 10xFive of a kind. 5x for four, 2x for three |
| Two upper mid symbols | 6xFive of a kind. 3x for four |
| Five low symbols | 1xFive of a kind, and all five lows are identical |
Features & How They Work
Three rounds, best one paid
A separate Best of Bonus symbol appears in the base game only. Land it at the same time as the scatters needed for any bonus tier and you get the Best of version of that tier instead.
Three full rounds of that bonus are then played out in a row. Each round's result is stored on a scoreboard outside the grid, and at the end of the third one the highest value on that scoreboard is awarded.
It is not a total and it is not an average. It is the maximum of three independent attempts, which means a bad round genuinely costs you nothing because you still have two more and only the best counts. Very few slots restructure their bonuses this way, and it changes what a disappointing spin sequence feels like.
Two slayers, one survivor
A VS symbol expands if it would form part of a win once expanded, covering the whole reel and displaying two slayers with different multipliers. A duel decides which survives, and the winner's multiplier is applied across the entire reel, which also turns wild.
Values run 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 6x, 7x, 8x, 9x, 10x, 15x, 20x, 25x, 50x, 100x, 250x and 500x. Because both are shown before the duel resolves, you know exactly what the difference between the outcomes is worth.
Where several duels are part of the same win, their surviving values are added together and then applied to the line wins. Only one VS can land per reel.
Five VS symbols makes the whole grid wild
Each expanded VS turns its reel wild. Land one on every reel and the rules are explicit: the entire grid is treated as wild.
On a five-reel grid with five duels running simultaneously, that also means five surviving multipliers being added together and applied to everything, which is the shape of the game's biggest outcomes.
Columns and rows
Four scatters award Wild Slayers, which adds the Slicer. Whenever a VS symbol lands there is a chance the Slicer activates, adding a full row of wild symbols on a randomly chosen row.
Which gives the game two different wild geometries. DuelReels produce wild columns, the Slicer produces wild rows, and on a 5x4 grid a couple of each fills the board very quickly from two directions at once.
Three scatters award Rise of the Syndicate, which simply improves the odds of VS symbols and changes nothing else.
The top tier guarantees both
Five scatters award One Slayer to Slay Them All, which keeps the Slicer and guarantees that both the DuelReels mechanic and the Slicer activate on every single spin.
Ten spins with a duel and a wild row every time. Scatters do not appear during it, so it cannot be retriggered, but with both mechanics firing on every spin there is little idle time to fill.
And with the Best of Bonus symbol attached, you get three of those rounds and keep whichever paid most.

How Slayers Inc Plays
The paytable is thin, with the best symbol and both wild types all paying ten times your stake for five of a kind, so ordinary lines are filler. The duels are the game.
Watching an expanded reel show a 500x slayer facing a 6x one is a good moment precisely because both numbers are visible. You are not waiting to see what you got, you are watching a specific outcome be decided, and losing that duel stings in a way a hidden random multiplier never could.
Wild Slayers and the top tier build well because columns and rows fill a small grid fast, and guaranteeing both mechanics every spin means the epic round rarely produces a dead one.
But the Best of Bonus is what will bring people back. Knowing that a poor first round is irrelevant because two more are coming changes how the whole thing feels, and it is a structure most studios would not risk.
Pros & Cons
Pros
- The Best of Bonus plays three rounds and awards only the highest result
- Duel multipliers reach 500x, more than double the studio's other DuelReels game
- Both slayers and both multipliers are shown before the duel resolves
- DuelReels create wild columns while the Slicer creates wild rows
- Five VS symbols, one per reel, makes the entire grid wild
- One Slayer to Slay Them All guarantees both mechanics on every spin
- Six effective bonus rounds, since each tier has a Best of version
Cons
- Duel multipliers are added rather than multiplied when several appear in one win
- The paytable is thin, with the top symbol and both wilds at 10x
- The top tier cannot be retriggered, as scatters do not appear in it
- The Best of Bonus symbol only appears in the base game
- No volatility rating, hit frequency, max win odds or full buy menu is published
Is Slayers Inc Worth Playing?
Paying out only the best of three bonus rounds is a genuinely daring bit of structure. It removes the sting from a bad round entirely, because a poor result simply gets overwritten by a better one, and it converts what would ordinarily be variance into pure upside. Most studios build bonuses that accumulate. This one builds a bonus that discards.
The DuelReels underneath it are solid too, and showing both slayers with their competing multipliers before the duel resolves gives every expansion a visible stake. A 500x sitting opposite an 8x is a much better piece of theatre than a hidden number would be.
Wild columns from the duels and wild rows from the Slicer is a neat pairing on a grid this size, and the top tier guaranteeing both every spin means it very rarely wastes one.
The paytable is negligible and the multipliers add rather than compound, so the ceiling comes from volume rather than escalation. But the Best of Bonus alone makes this worth seeking out, and it is the most interesting bonus structure in this studio's range.
