About Stockholm Syndrome Slot

The 28,873x cap is a date. Twenty-eighth of August, 1973. The day the Norrmalmstorg siege in central Stockholm ended after six days and gave the world a phrase for hostages siding with their captors. Nolimit City built the whole game around that footnote, down to the Swedish-language POLIS symbols and the riot vans parked in the background behind the reel area.

The base game runs on a 3-4-3-4-3 layout, 432 ways, with cascading avalanches on every win. A random character symbol picks up an x2, x3, x4, x5 or x10 round multiplier before each spin starts, applied to any wins that character contributes to. Reel 3 holds the Con Man Wild as a stacked block. When it lands fully visible, the bottom cell of reel 3 unlocks for that spin and one of the lower-paying character symbols gets converted into a Wild for everywhere it appears on the grid.

Two satellite features run in the dead-spin corners. SOS in a horizontal row turns its middle 'O' into an xBomb Wild that detonates adjacent positions and adds +1 to the win multiplier. PISS stacked in a column flips every letter into an xBomb at once. Both only fire on no-win, no-cascade spins in the base game, so they exist mainly as ugly-spin insurance.

POLIS symbols landing sequentially in the same row trigger the hold-and-win mini-feature: four positions lock in coin values from x5 up to x5000 or a direct Max Win tile, and a fifth position rolls one to three keys. Each key opens a coin or the Max Win, every unlock adds together, and the live xBomb multiplier still applies to the sum. Up to 5,000x sits inside POLIS alone, no free spins required.

Three Scatters give 7 Hostage Spins. Four give 8 Syndrome Spins on the expanded 3-4-4-4-4-3 grid, where the Con Man Wild can land on reels 3 and 4, character symbols get collected, and a full Collect Meter activates the Syndrome Feature: reel 3 turns Wild with its own multiplier, reel 4 forces an Infectious xWays reveal, and reels 2 and 5 split every symbol in two. xBomb multipliers stick across both tiers, which is the long route to that 28,873x. The paid menu is unusually wide. Two Bet Boosters (1.5x for a guaranteed Scatter on reel 5, 10x for a guaranteed Con Man Wild) sit at -2% RTP, and nine direct buys cover Hostage Spins, Syndrome Spins, five POLIS variants and two Lucky Draws between -3% and -4%.
