About Tree of Fortune Slot
Tree of Fortune is one of PG Soft's earlier releases and it shows - a straightforward 5x3 grid with 30 paylines, Chinese New Year theming, and mechanics that prioritize frequency over volatility. The 50% hit rate is exceptionally high. Every other spin produces something.
Red Packet symbols landing anywhere on the reels fly up to the Tree of Fortune sitting above the grid. Each packet lands on a spot (or stacks on an existing one) and progresses through five levels. Hit level five and the packet opens to reveal 2, 3, or 5 free spins. Up to five packets can grow simultaneously on the tree, and free spins from different packets stack together. It's a slow-build collection mechanic that rewards extended play sessions.
The Bonus Feature triggers when three Shake symbols land on reels 2, 3, and 4. You physically shake the fortune tree (or tap on mobile) to reveal a prize, then pick from eight Golden Packets. Each packet hides either coin wins, additional picks (+2), or a "Refill" that starts the selection over with fresh packets. You can get two refills maximum, meaning a lucky Bonus round cycles through three full sets of eight packets.
Wild and Shake symbols only appear on the middle three reels, which concentrates the action and limits how often the bonus triggers naturally. The 5,000x max win is modest, and the 95% RTP sits below modern PG Soft Chinese-themed slots. But for a low-stakes session where you want constant feedback and two distinct bonus mechanics, Tree of Fortune delivers. The golden tree animation when packets level up is satisfying, even if the visual presentation overall feels dated by current standards.
