About 3 Million BC Slot
The name is a wink. Betsoft already had 2 Million B.C. back in 2008 - one of their early 3D cinematic releases, 30 paylines, a Saber Attack pick bonus, very of-its-era. Three Million BC shares the caveman setting and absolutely nothing else. The art has moved to cartoon comic-book caveman (cheerful sabre-tooths, a tiny mammoth, club-wielding tribesmen carved into rocky tiles) and the mechanic has been swapped out entirely for a Cash Collect engine wired to three separate Hold & Win wheels above the reels.
The base layer is straightforward Cash Collect. A COLLECT symbol shows up only on reel 1, and when it lands adjacent to any CASH medallion or BONUS PRIZE tier on reels 2-5, the connected values get paid out. CASH symbols carry visible amounts on their faces (you'll see 1.50, 2.55, 3.00 stamped on amber coins right on the reels), and they range from 0.67x to 100x per individual symbol. The five bonus tiers run Mini 12x, Minor 25x, Major 300x, Mega 1,000x, Grand 10,000x, and that Grand is also the hard cap on the whole game. There's an Ancient Drop trigger too, a random late-spin event that drops a CASH or BONUS PRIZE symbol into a vacant position, basically a chance to rescue a dead-looking grid by completing a collect.
The 3 Hoards are where the depth sits. Three colored Wilds, each locked to a specific reel, each tied to its own banner above the grid - Purple Wild on reel 2 triggers UPGRADE, Red Wild on reel 3 triggers RESPINS, Green Wild on reel 4 triggers EXTRA. They can fire solo or in any combination, which means seven possible Hoard configurations per spin. Solo UPGRADE spins a wheel that pre-upgrades wedges (50, 100, 200, 250, 1000 coins, plus an ALL-200 wedge that boosts every cash prize on the wheel at once) before the final pointer lands. Solo EXTRA puts 1-3 pointers on a cash-prize wheel and sums whatever they hit. Solo RESPINS hands you 3-20 respins where reel 1 locks with three COLLECTs every spin, all regular symbols disappear, and each CASH or BONUS PRIZE that lands gets an individual random multiplier of 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 8x, or 10x before being collected. Grand is excluded from that respin multiplier, which is the catch.
The combinations stack the layers. UPGRADE + RESPINS converts the wheel into a respin-count wheel and boosts that, so you can end up with a heavily upgraded respin total. UPGRADE + EXTRA + RESPINS does both at once. None of this is buried behind a paywall either - the Buy Bonus options here are unusually cheap for a Betsoft Hold & Win. Twenty times your bet gets you straight into Respins. Forty times buys the full Combo Bonus where all three Hoards fire on the same spin. Forty for guaranteed Combo is genuinely low compared to the 80x-100x most studios charge for their headline feature buy.
Visually the game looks nothing like classic Betsoft. The reel surround is a chunky carved stone arch sitting in a jungle clearing, palms and ferns at the edges, a thatched hut with crackling torches to the right, the three Hoard banners glowing purple, red, and green above the symbols. The five jackpot tiers run down the left in a stone tablet column with colored gem icons. Warm, sunlit, cartoony, none of the painterly cinematic look Betsoft built its reputation on. Whether that's a problem depends on what you came for.
