Three bear crime bosses run this one, and the whole game is a bet on how big a single wild multiplier can get. 3 Power Bears is AvatarUX doing the opposite of what made them famous. No PopWins, no cascades, no free spins round in the usual sense. Just a compact 3x3 cabinet, a handful of paylines, and one idea repeated until it either pays or it doesn't.

It's a mafia parody with animal mobsters: a Russian brown bear in a fur ushanka, a pipe-smoking panda in a red Tang suit, and an Italian black bear in a fedora and pinstripes, all flanking a brass slot machine in a smoky backroom. The hook is the wild. Wilds carry a multiplier, and one of the three bears steps in, randomly in the base game or bought outright, to upgrade that wild toward a ceiling of x20, x200, or x1,000 depending on which one shows up.

The art is the best thing here, and it commits. Amber sconce light, deep film-noir shadow, wood paneling and a sliver of stone hearth off to the side. The brown bear leans on the left with a cigarette and a gold chain over his overcoat; the panda drapes over the top of the cabinet working an opium-style pipe; the black bear stands to the right in a three-piece pinstripe suit, fedora tilted, cigar in paw. Symbols keep the gangster kit going - a whiskey tumbler beside a pair of green dice, a revolver dropped on scattered bullets, brass knuckles with a switchblade, ace-pair cards fanned over pink poker chips, a cigar smouldering in an ashtray. The wild is a fat pile of gold coins stamped with its current multiplier, glowing red when it lands. It looks premium, honestly, better rendered than the game underneath it deserves.

Fast and thin. Spins resolve instantly on a grid this small, and between bear features there isn't much to hold your attention - a 3-of-a-kind or nothing, with the top base symbol only worth 3x. The tension is entirely about whether a bear shows up and, when it does, whether the multiplier climbs. Brown feature spins feel harmless and forgettable. Panda spins are where the pulse is, because a maxed wild there is the difference between a dead session and a genuinely big one.

High volatility on nine positions is a rough combination, though. The wins cluster around the features and the dry stretches in between can feel long for what's a very simple loop. Once you understand the bear system, which takes about five minutes, there's nothing left to discover. That's the trade-off with deliberate minimalism - it's clean, but it's shallow, and it probably won't hold you for a long sitting.

There's something admirable about a PopWins studio putting out a three-reel classic with a single idea and no filler. The bears look great, and the buy menu with its upside-down pricing is smarter than anything else in the game. But strip away the novelty and it's a bare, high-variance line slot where one multiplier wild decides everything. The base game gives you little to chew on, the RTP is slightly stingy, and that 15,000x ceiling needs a Panda run to land almost perfectly. As a quick, high-risk curiosity, or a follow-up for anyone who liked 3 Power Dragons, it does the job. As a game you return to, it runs out of road fast.
