About African Sunset Slot
The whole feature hinges on two reels lining up. Land a Lion or the lone acacia Tree on reel one and reel five at the same time, and you collect 15 free spins. It's an old-school trigger, the kind that ignores the three reels in between, so the bonus comes down to whether those edges cooperate. What makes the round worth chasing is the multiplier. Every win during the free spins gets a random boost of x2, x3, x5 or x10, slapped on top after the line resolves, and landing the Lion and Tree on the edges again inside the feature tacks on another five spins.
The base game is plain by comparison. Fifteen fixed lines pay left to right across the savanna grid, with a Wild that stands in for everything except those two feature symbols. Big game fills the high end, a Lion staring straight out of the reels, a blue-grey Rhino, a long-necked Giraffe and a striped Zebra, while tribal-carved A through 10 royals, each trimmed with beadwork, handle the low pays. There's a card Gamble on wins if you want to risk a payout on a red-or-black guess, but no bonus buy and no jackpots. This one predates all that.
It looks its age in the nicest way. The reels sit inside a frame of Maasai beadwork, woven shields and crossed spears, and behind everything a single acacia tree stands black against a sky burning orange at sundown. Warm ochres, sunset reds, that golden-hour glow over the whole board. Among GameArt's wildlife slots it's one of the calmer ones, low on volatility and built around that single multiplier round rather than layers of mechanics.
