About African Treasure Slot

Strip out the bonus rounds you'd expect from a modern slot and you're left with the bones of an old payline machine, which is exactly what this is. There are no free spins. Nothing to buy. The win comes off five fixed lines running through the middle of the reels, left to right from the leftmost reel, and the symbol you're chasing is the oval gold medallion stamped with the map of Africa. That medallion tops the paytable, paying 1,000x your line bet for five, and it doubles as the wild, dropping onto the three middle reels and standing in for everything but the scatter. So the same icon that pays the most is the one that completes your other lines.

The green star is the scatter, and it works the generous way. It pays from any position on the screen rather than along a line, and that win gets added on top of whatever your paylines already returned instead of replacing it. Below it sits a blue tribal mask that starts paying from just two of a kind, which is unusual on a board this lean and softens the long dry stretches. The drum and the African royals (A, K, Q, J in ornate gold and red) fill out the rest.

The real reason to keep an eye on the screen is the row of three mystery progressives: Gold, Diamond and Platinum, each ticking on a meter above the reels. They drop at a random hidden amount with no symbol combo to line up, fed by a slice of every bet, and your odds of triggering one scale with how much you stake. The Gold meter cycles low, often hovering around 400 to 500. Diamond runs into the thousands. There's also a red-or-black gamble after any win, doubling up to a 50,000 ceiling, if you want to push a small line hit further.

Visually it's all warm sunset: silhouetted acacia trees against a glowing orange sky, the reels boxed in a tribal-patterned gold border, the whole thing leaning into safari postcard rather than anything fierce. A plain five-line slot with a jackpot row bolted on, and it doesn't pretend to be more.
