About Pufferfish Pop Fortunes Slot

A prize wheel doesn't usually share screen space with the reels in real time. Here it does. Pufferfish Pop Fortunes runs its Bonus Wheel on the left edge of the cabinet, ticking and resolving in parallel with the base spins rather than waiting to launch as its own stage. Wheel segments hand out cash values like 25, 75, 100 and 200, occasional FREE SPIN tokens, and the three Pufferfish triggers that drive the feature side of the game.

Those three pufferfish sit on a coral ledge above the grid, big-eyed and cartoon-bright. Green is Coin Boost, red is Pearl Prize, purple is Reel Boost. Each one has its own modifier round, and the marketing pitch of "7 different features" comes from the math of stacking them: any one of the three on its own, any pair together, or all three at once. That's seven combinations of the same three base ingredients. IGT used the identical combinatorial template earlier with their Pufferfish-adjacent fish-themed releases, and the structure works because the wheel can also drop additional pufferfish during a feature round, upgrading a single-character bonus into a two- or three-character combo mid-flight.

Four fixed jackpots stack along the top of the cabinet, GRAND, MAJOR, MINOR and MINI, paying $1000, $100, $15 and $5 at the default $0.50 stake. The wheel is the path in. There's no scatter route, no symbol collection meter, the jackpot tier drops when its segment lands. At $0.50 the GRAND reads as a 2000x ceiling, which gives the math more upside than the medium-volatility label suggests on paper.

One detail in the paytable worth flagging. The top symbol, marked WILD on the red banner, pays from two of a kind. Five of them line up at 250 coins. Most slots want three to start a payout, so a 2-of-a-kind wild line measurably tightens the gap between dry stretches. Royals A and K handle the low end, with pearls, the pirate hat and a treasure chest filling the mid-paying band.

This is the NoBB build of the game, which matters. The standard IGT release ships with two buy options, a 50x stake purchase for any one-to-three Pufferfish trigger and a Super Bonus Buy for all three at once. Neither exists here. The only way into the feature stack is to wait for the wheel or for pufferfish symbols to drop on their own, which suits the cartoon-coral aesthetic but does mean longer stretches of straight base spins between bonus rounds.
