Each bolt carries a value - anywhere from a small bump up to 100x. When one appears on a spin that also produces a winning cluster, its value gets added to a cascade multiplier meter sitting to the right of the grid. Every win during that cascade chain gets multiplied by whatever the meter reads. In the base game, the meter resets once the cascade sequence ends and you spin again. Fine. But during free falls (triggered by four cloud scatter symbols landing on the inner reels 2 through 5), the meter never resets. Eleven free falls, and every lightning bolt from every cascade across all eleven spins keeps stacking onto the same meter. A slow start with a few small bolts can snowball into triple-digit multipliers by the tail end of the round.

The scatter only appears on four of the six reels, and free falls cannot retrigger once active. So you get one shot at eleven spins, and the entire payout hinges on how many bolts land and how late into the round your biggest clusters connect. Early wins at low multipliers feel wasteful. A fat cluster on spin ten with a meter already reading 80x is where the game actually pays.
