About Crystal Hot 40 Max Slot

What separates this one from the plainer Crystal Hot 40 skins (the standard version, the Halloween and Christmas reskins) sits on three reels in the middle of the grid. The Wild only lands on reels 2, 3 and 4, and when it does it swells to fill the entire reel, turning every cell on that column wild and substituting every symbol except the star Scatter. With 40 fixed lines all threading through the middle of the board, one fully wild reel feeds a stack of those lines at once, so a single expanding Wild often pays across a fistful of paylines in one drop. That's the trick the cheaper skins skip, and it's the same expanding-wild engine Fazi runs in Epic Fire 40 and Golden Crown 40.

The fruit is the fun part visually. Everything is cut from low-poly faceted gemstone, a striped crystal watermelon, clusters of deep purple grape jewels, glassy yellow lemons, orange oranges, amethyst plums and ruby cherries, all glittering against a glowing golden field. The watermelon tops the regular symbols at 10x for five, grapes and plums sit at 5x, and the smaller orange, lemon and cherry round out the bottom at 2.5x. The icy-blue, fiery-red and green title burning across the top is the only thing on screen that isn't a polished fruit.

The white-silver star is the Scatter, and it behaves the generous way. It pays from any position on the screen, no need to land on a line, and that win gets added straight onto whatever your paylines already returned rather than replacing it. Five stars is the single biggest result on the table at 500x. There's a catch worth knowing though: the Scatter does not trigger anything. No free spins, no second screen, no buy button. The star is purely a pay-anywhere symbol, and the expanding Wild is the whole feature set.

Underneath the reels run three mystery progressives, Gold, Diamond and Platinum, each fed by a slice of every bet and dropping at a random hidden point, so betting up shortens the odds of catching one rather than any symbol combination doing it. After any win you can take the result to a red-or-black gamble, doubling until you miss or hit the 50,000 ceiling.
