About El Ranchero Cash Collect Diamond Path Slot
What sets this one apart from the rest of Playtech's Cash Collect line is the Diamond Path, and it only shows up inside the free games. That round triggers when Free Games symbols land, and the spin count is the total of the values printed on them. Once you're in, a bar of padlocks sits above the reels, split into groups. You collect Key symbols to pop the locks, and clearing a full group reveals the diamond behind it, which pays a Cash Collect prize right there. The Path runs across all the reels and stays locked in for up to three free games, so the keys you gather carry forward instead of wiping each spin.
The base game leans on the standard Cash Collect move. A Cash Collect symbol landing on reel 5 sweeps up every Cash coin, Diamond and Free Games symbol showing at that moment. The cash values ride on gold coins and cloth money bags. Land more than one Cash Collect and each fires its own separate collect, so a packed board can pay several times over. There's also a "+2" adder coin that pads the haul with extra value, or extra free games, when it gets pulled into a collect.
The four fixed prizes come off the Diamonds. A Diamond hands you the Mini, Minor, Major or Grand, worth 20x, 50x, 200x or 500x. None of them are progressive, so the top of that ladder stays at a flat 500x, and the whole board tops out at 2,171x. That's the honest weak spot. It's a fine ceiling for a high-volatility game, but if you've played any Cash Collect title before, the core loop will feel familiar within a few spins.
The setting is the nicest part. A Wild West saloon after dark, rows of amber whiskey bottles lined up on carved wooden back-bar shelves, brass rails and a polished mahogany counter glowing under lamplight. Symbols mix green-and-white "$" poker chips, gold cash coins, purple diamond discs and cloth money bags. The Wild is a gold sheriff's badge, and it stands in for everything except the Cash Collect, Cash, Diamond and Free Games symbols, which have to stay untouched for the collect and the Path to work.
