About Fatz's Diner Gigablox Slot
The Hippo multiplier rule is the one to internalise before you press anything. It only fires inside Free Spins, it only applies to wins involving the top-pay symbol (the chef hippo himself), it starts at x3 on a base trigger, and it adds another +3 every time a Hippo combo lands. There is no reset between spins. A round that opens with a Hippo Gigablox in the first three drops can already be sitting at x12 or x15 by spin five, and the multiplier sits there waiting for the next high-pay land for the rest of the round. The asymmetry is deliberate. Lower symbols never benefit. The whole 9,000x ceiling is realistically a Hippo-stack outcome inside a long Free Spins session, not a base-game miracle.
Gigablox itself is the 5x5 cabinet's structural quirk. Every spin merges between two and five reels into a single Gigareel showing one oversized symbol at 2x2, 3x3, 4x4 or 5x5. That supersymbol then counts as multiple individual positions across the 40 paylines, so a 5x5 Hippo block touches every single payline at once. The Expand and Respin neon-arrow icon never lands on the Gigareel itself, only on the surrounding columns, and when it appears the Gigareel grows one column toward the arrow and the spin runs again. Arrows on both sides expand the block in both directions. Chains continue until no fresh arrows drop, which means a single triggering arrow can occasionally cascade into a near-full-screen Gigablox.
Free Spins fire from 5 or more Bonus symbols anywhere in view, with the spin count set at 5 plus the trigger Bonus count. Each additional Bonus during the round adds +1 spin. The Expand and Respin Collection runs in parallel: every arrow that lands gets banked, and at 3, 6, and 9 collected the minimum Gigareel size on subsequent base spins inside the round bumps to 3, 4, then 5. Hit nine arrows and every remaining spin opens with a guaranteed 5x5 Gigablox. The collection caps there.
Two buy options sit on the left rail. The 100x bet entry drops you into a random 10 to 30 Free Spins. The 600x bet Super tier guarantees 30 spins and starts the Hippo multiplier at x9 instead of x3 - the only path to the heavy outcomes. Yggdrasil's Lucky Ryan GigaBlox uses the same supersymbol engine on a ways-pay model, which makes the 40-line cap here feel deliberately tight.
The cabinet is full pastel Americana. Black-and-white checkerboard floor, a glossy red booth tucked into the right side, ketchup and mustard bottles on a counter beside a burger and fries, an OPEN neon sign on the far wall, a vintage jukebox slotted into the left frame doubling as the Wild art. Symbol art runs to anthropomorphic animals on bright card backgrounds - greaser lion in denim, gangster croc in pinstripes, gazelle in pink, nerd monkey in glasses - with low-pay diner staples filling the bottom of the paytable.
