About Fortune Five Xmas Double Slot
A snow-dusted cabinet roof, jingle-bell accents on the spin button, and watermelons wearing tiny green caps like Christmas baubles. Underneath the holiday wrapping this is one of Gamebeat's oldest builds still in rotation, a five-line classic on the same V1 engine the studio used back when its first Fortune Five shipped in 2021. The Xmas Double is the fourth coat of paint on that frame: original Fortune Five, then Fortune Five Double, then a 20-line variant, and now the December reskin with snowflakes drifting behind the reels and Red Sevens given a chrome festive twinkle.
Five paylines is the whole battlefield. Cherries pay from two in a row (5 coins for a pair), every other fruit needs three, and the chrome Red Seven is the headline act. Three Sevens on a line returns 20x bet, four pays 200x, and a full line of five awards 1000x stake straight from the paytable. Those three tiers are the jackpots, embedded in the regular pay table rather than running as a separate four-tier MINI/MAJOR/GRAND ladder on top. It's the older fruit-machine pattern, and it shows.
The x2 Multiplier symbol is the only thing breaking that purity. It pays nothing on its own. Land it inside a winning combination and it doubles the line. Two of them on the same combo do not stack to x4, the engine treats it as a flat doubler regardless of how many show up. That's also where the official 1280x ceiling comes from rather than the raw 1000x paytable cap, the multiplier extending an otherwise short top end.
A separate scatter symbol pays 2x/10x/50x for 3/4/5 anywhere on the reels and triggers a Bonus Game. The bonus itself stays off-screen until you hit it, the engine doesn't expose the round's mechanic in advance and there's no buy bonus to short-cut your way in. The V1 build simply doesn't support that feature, so the only path to the bonus is the scatter landing on its own.
Visually it sticks to the recipe: red velvet curtain edges, gold ornament accents, ripe purple grapes hanging in clusters where a normal classic slot would show grape symbols, and the Fortune Five logo nestled on a snowdrift platform. If you've sat in front of any of the previous three Fortune Five releases the muscle memory transfers exactly, this is the same five-payline math underneath a Christmas wrapper.
