About Freak Machine
The 5x5 grid uses cluster pays - land 5 or more matching symbols connected horizontally or vertically, and they disappear in a cascade. New symbols drop in, and chains keep going until no more clusters form. A progress bar sits beside the reels, filling as clusters collect symbols across three levels.
In base game the bar resets after each spin. During free spins it carries over, and every time it hits level three the win multiplier ticks up by one. That persistent multiplier is where the bigger numbers come from.
