Mental is Nolimit City's flagship asylum slasher, a 5-reel video slot that expands up to 20 rows during features and runs on a triple booster stack of xSplit, xWays and xNudge Wild. Two scatter types feed a three-tier freespin ladder (Autopsy to Lobotomy to Mental), the Dead Patient mechanic can hand out multipliers up to x9999 on a single symbol, and the four-step buy menu covers everything from a cheap Autopsy entry to the Lucky Draw lottery. The 66,666x cap is no accident, the number is the joke. To spin Mental free without depositing, press "Free Play" below and the demo loads in your browser.

About Mental Slot
The Dead Patient mechanic is the thing to understand first. Two Dead Patient symbols anywhere on the grid reveal one of the five Patient highs with a random multiplier rolled from x5, x10, x15, x30, x50, x100, x200, x500, x1000 or x9999. That x9999 sits at the top of the table as a single-symbol hit big enough to clear the 66,666x payout cap on its own in the right cluster. The catch is the Dead Multiplier collects per Patient with a Count, so x15 with Count:3 only applies to the next three landings of Patient-1 before resetting. Inside Mental Freespins the Count stops decrementing and just keeps building.
The base game runs on three boosters at once, which is rare even for Nolimit. xWays reveals three of the same symbol on a single reel and stretches that reel's height. xSplit picks one symbol on each reel and doubles it, and if xSplit itself gets picked it splits into two Wilds. xNudge Wild always slides into full view and stacks a +1 multiplier per step travelled, additive across multiple Wilds. On top of that, 1 to 13 random Fire Frames drop onto the grid every spin and any symbol landing in a Fire Frame splits in two. Counters at the bottom of reels 2 and 4 track those frames. Four frames on reel 2 trigger an Enhancer Cell that reveals a Patient, Wild, Dead Patient, xWays or xSplit. Six frames on reel 4 do the same.
Two scatter types feed a three-level freespin tree. Scorpion lands on reels 1, 3 and 5. Spider lands on reels 2 and 4. Three Scorpions alone start Autopsy Freespins at 8 spins. Three Scorpions plus one Spider start Lobotomy at 9 spins. Three Scorpions plus two Spiders skip straight to Mental at 10 spins, where every Spider symbol sticks and triggers Mental Transform on every spin, swapping itself into an xWays, xSplit, Dead Patient, Wild or Patient. Land an extra Spider mid-feature and the round upgrades on the fly with a bonus spin tacked on. The four-step buy menu sells Autopsy at 60x stake, Lobotomy at a steeper rate, Mental at the standard 200x territory, and Lucky Draw as the premium lottery option that can deal any of the three tiers at random.
Visually it leans hard into the asylum-horror genre the studio mines across its horror catalogue. The reels sit inside a dim industrial corridor lined with hanging cages, rusted pipes and broken tile floors. Highs are five Patient mugshots printed on aged parchment cards, ranging from a restrained man with a metal mouthpiece to a woman with a scar carved across her cheek. Mids are organ icons in rusted bronze tones: brain, heart, eye, skeletal hand. A bare bulb hangs over the grid casting amber light, and the broken "M" of the title tile drips blood onto the reel frame. The 66,666x cap and the asylum window dressing aren't here by coincidence, this is the title that defined what the Overthelimit catalogue would look like, and the gore-heavy presentation is part of the design brief. Not a game for the squeamish.
