If you're a fan of classic 3x3 slots, IGT's Triple Diamond Super Pots (released in September 2026) is an interesting mix of old-school aesthetics and modern mechanics. It takes the traditional sevens-and-diamonds theme and builds it around a really clever "modular" free spins round, similar to what IGT did with Magic Rockets Dragon.

How the Bonus Works
The highlight of the game is definitely the free spins feature, which is triggered by landing red, pink, or teal diamonds. The cool part is that each color adds a different modifier to the bonus round, and you can trigger one, two, or all three at the exact same time.
- Red gives you Double Spins, bumping your standard 7 free spins up to 14.
- Teal adds a completely independent second set of reels to the screen.
- Pink unlocks the Star Prize, which brings fixed jackpots into the mix.
A quick heads-up on the design, though: you'll notice three colored meters above the reels that track the diamonds. While they look cool, they are purely cosmetic. They don't actually show your progress toward a bonus; the rules say their visuals have no effect on gameplay. Also, once you're in the bonus round, the diamonds are removed from the reels, so you can't retrigger it.

Chasing the Jackpots
If you manage to trigger the Pink diamond modifier, you get a shot at the game's fixed jackpots (a 10x Mini, 20x Minor, 100x Major, and a 1,000x Grand). However, the game is pretty strict about how these pay out. You need a perfect left-to-right alignment: a star on reel one, a star on reel two, and the prize symbol on reel three. If a prize symbol lands without the two stars in front of it, it pays no prize.

Interestingly, you can tell the game was built to include Bonus Buys (a 40x buy for a random feature, a 100x buy for all three, and a Diamond Bet that makes each spin cost 1.5x the bet for better trigger odds). For whatever reason, IGT decided to disable these options for this specific launch, meaning you'll just have to spin the old-fashioned way to see the bonus.

How It Compares to Other Slots
If you're deciding what to play, Super Pots sits right next to Red White & Blue Tristar in IGT's classic 3-reel lineup. Between the two, Super Pots is arguably the better game on paper. It offers a much friendlier RTP (95.99% compared to Tristar's 92.00%), and its top fixed prize, the 1,000x Grand, is double Tristar's 500x flag prize. Neither game lets you read how close a feature is: Tristar charges pots it never shows, while Super Pots shows meters that, by its own rules, mean nothing for play, but the math here is definitely more forgiving.
Mechanically, it shares the idea of random features that can combine with Magic Rockets Dragon, though that game actually lets you buy its features.
Looking outside of IGT, it shares a 95.99% RTP with AvatarUX's 3-reel Blondes & Beers. However, Super Pots has a nice edge in the base game thanks to its x2 and x5 wilds, which multiply each other rather than just adding together. On the flip side, if you're purely a jackpot hunter, you might prefer something like Onlyplay's Bigfoot Riches. That game offers a 10,000x Grand that can hit via a pick-me game on any random spin, whereas Super Pots makes you work a bit harder by locking its 1,000x Grand behind a specific bonus feature and a perfect symbol alignment.
Triple Diamond Super Pots is a solid, fair game for classic slot fans. While the cosmetic meters and locked bonus buys are a little frustrating, the excellent RTP, multiplying wilds, and the excitement of combining different bonus features make it worth a spin.
