Evoplay built it as a remake of the original Hot Triple Sevens, trading three reels for a 5x3 grid with 10 fixed paylines.

What it does with the extra space is modest. One wild, stamped HOT, and one free spins round where every win pays triple. That is the entire game. RTP is 96.05% and the ceiling is 3,035x the total bet, though nearly all of that number lives inside the bonus.

It is the middle child of three. The original came first, this landed in November 2021, and Hot Triple Sevens Hold and Win followed three years later. That last one matters more than it first appears.

The whole game sits inside a slot cabinet drawn in hot pink neon tubing, glowing against a black and violet backdrop, with a dot matrix marquee flashing LET'S PLAY in yellow bulbs above the reels. A row of chunky purple plastic buttons runs along the base, purely decorative. The sevens are glossy and candy coloured on deep blue reel strips lit from behind, some plain, some wearing a crown of animated flame.

The HOT wild is the best drawn piece in here: a red banner with three overlapping sevens crammed together and HOT stamped across the front. Scatters are gold stars wrapped in fire with a purple ribbon across them, and they read instantly, which is more than can be said for the rest. Since all seven paying symbols share one shape, telling a white seven from a cyan one at spin speed comes down to colour alone. A fruit set would be kinder on the eyes, even if it would look nowhere near as good sitting still.

Sessions here have one shape and it does not vary much. Small line wins trickle in, plenty of them worth less than the spin that produced them, and the reels keep turning until three gold stars finally show up. Nothing builds in the background while that happens, no meter and no collection, so the wait is just a wait.

The bonus arrives short and hard edged, which changes the feel of it. Ten spins at triple pay go by quickly, and you are watching for the gold seven from the first one rather than settling in. Which makes this one the newer game with its better half removed. That is not unfair to Evoplay, who sold it as a remake with expanded potential, and measured against the original three reeler it delivers exactly that: more reels, more lines, a far bigger ceiling. Measured against what came after, it is a base game and a short bonus with nothing in between them. Come to it after the Hold and Win version and the gap is impossible to miss.
