Coins land on reels 1 and 3 only. The Vortex lands on reel 2 only. Neither one does anything by itself, so a fat medallion stamped 20.00 with no portal next to it is decoration and nothing more, which on a grid this small happens spin after spin. When they do meet, the portal takes every coin value showing and adds the total to that spin. Six coin positions and three portal positions exist, and every portal collects the whole board, so three Vortexes at once pay the coin total three times over.

That hunt is the tease. Coin values are printed big on the medallions, so the board tells you exactly what is on the table before the portal shows up or fails to, and watching 20.00 and 10.00 sit on the outside reels with a Wild parked uselessly in the middle is a specific flavour of annoyance this game serves constantly. The 3x3 frame is what makes it work, though. On a busy 5x3 collector the eye has thirty positions to audit and the collect blurs into noise, whereas here you read the whole outcome instantly, which is a small design win worth more than it sounds.

Sessions run flat until the round hits, then get loud. The reset rule means a good bonus keeps extending itself while a bad one is over in about eight seconds, and that gap between the two outcomes is wide enough that the ride will probably feel harsher than the medium-high label implies.

A small, sharp collect game that knows what it is. The asymmetric reel split gives the mechanic a shape that the 5x3 crowd does not have, the triple-Vortex board is a payoff worth chasing, and the reset rule turns a three-spin round into something that occasionally runs long. What holds it back is the floor. Line pays this weak leave nothing happening between features, and on nine positions the dead-coin spins arrive relentlessly.

The pricing quirk is the odd part. Both buys pay back more than the base game, and the 92x Super pays back the most of all, so the standard advice to avoid buy features because they cost you return does not apply here. Whether 92x a shot is a sane way to spend a bankroll is a separate question, and the answer is usually no. At roughly 3,554x the ceiling is modest by 2026 standards, but on a game this stripped down that reads as honest rather than mean.
