About Joker Jane Slot

Jane is a tall cabaret showgirl in a red top hat, blue sequined shorts and white knee boots, leaning on a black cane to the left of the reels. The grid sits on a magenta-pink backdrop dotted with pale hearts, and the symbol set leans straight Vegas: cherries, plums, raspberries, watermelon, oranges, lemons, BARs, red sevens and a gold star. Old-school dressing on a slightly modern frame.

The frame matters because the layout is 5 reels by 4 rows, not the 5x3 Evoplay usually ships. That extra row gives 20 grid positions, which is the same number you need for the Grand jackpot. More on that below.

The Wild is a Jane portrait and it only lands on reels 2, 3 and 4. Reels 1 and 5 are locked out. So even though Wild is the top-paying symbol on the paytable (5-of-a-kind would be 50x), you literally cannot land 5 wilds on a line. What you can do is land them with x2 or x3 multipliers attached, and if two multiplier wilds hit the same combo the values add together rather than multiply: x2 + x3 = x5, not x6. In the base game these multipliers show up sometimes. In Free Spins every Wild carries a x2 or x3, no exceptions.

Free Spins come from Scatters. 3 trigger 8 spins, 4 trigger 12, 5 trigger 20. Retriggers work down to 2 Scatters, which gives you 5 extra spins, and that is the only situation in the entire game where 2 Scatters do anything useful. The same trigger ladder applies to bigger retriggers as well.

The Bonus Game is where the real money lives, and it uses a Hold and Win structure with one nasty trigger: you need 8 or more gold-coin Bonus symbols on a single spin. When it hits, the regular reels disappear and only Bonus coins or empty cells can land. Each new coin resets the respin counter back to 3. Coins are worth 1x to 15x bet, or they show up as MINI (50x), MEGA (150x) or SUPER (500x). If you somehow fill all 20 positions, that pays the GRAND at 5000x, which lines up almost exactly with the 5,551x advertised ceiling.

Buy Bonus is offered four ways: 38x for the Hold and Win round, 28x for the 8-spin pack, 46x for 12 spins, 88x for 20 spins. The 88x option carries the highest theoretical return of the four at 96.23%, the 12-spin entry is the weakest. Worth picking carefully if buy menus are available in your region, because the spread is wider than usual.

Mechanically this is a conservative build for a December 2024 release. No tumble, no expanding wilds, no megaways, just lines and a Hold and Win bolted onto a fruit grid. The hook is the character and the awkward 8-coin trigger, not the engine.
