About Jane Jones: Book of Kings 2 Slot

Two books run this one, and which of them sits on the reels depends on whether it's day or night. You start in Day Mode, where the sun-emblem Day Book doubles as scatter and wild, standing in for every symbol except its night-time twin. Then, on any spin and with no warning, Night Mode takes over at random. During Night Mode the spins cost you nothing, your bet stays locked, and the round lasts at least three spins. For as long as it holds, the moon-emblem Night Book replaces the sun one.

Both books lead into free games, and both lean on the same old Book trick. Three or more Day Books hand you 10 free games, and three more landing inside add another 10. Night Mode is the easier route in: two Night Books award 5 free games, three or more give 10. Whichever round you land, one symbol gets picked at random before it begins, and every time that symbol drops it expands to fill its whole reel and pays from any position across the lines. That's where the big hits come from.

The setting is a snow-dusted Himalayan monastery, misty temples and pagoda roofs below a reel set washed in pale mountain light. Jane Jones herself, a blonde adventurer in a fur-trimmed cloak, tops the paytable, ahead of a serene bald monk, a red-and-gold tasselled amulet and a golden winged Garuda deity, with glossy card royals down at the low end. The books pay from anywhere, scatter-style, so they never need a line to land. What you won't find is any of the extras the genre usually bolts on: no jackpots, no ante, no button to buy your way into the free games. That random Night Mode is the only shortcut, and it decides when to show up, not you.
