About Kingdoms Rise: Shadow Queen Slot

Shadow Queen is the gothic entry in Playtech's Kingdoms Rise franchise, built by the Ash Gaming studio and swinging harder than most of the series. It's a 5x4 board with 25 lines and a very high volatility rating, the kind of game that sits flat for a while and then delivers everything at once. A knight, a green enchantress and a frozen ice-warrior head the cast over a spellbook, a red potion and jewels, and the Shadow Queen herself lands as a full-reel stacked wild, filling reels two and four when she shows.

The Magic Wins feature is the heart of it. Land the scatters to spin the Magic Wheel and you're awarded up to ten guaranteed wins, played one after another with a multiplier that climbs by one on every spin. The clever twist is that only winning spins count down your remaining Magic Wins, so a run can stretch out while the multiplier keeps rising. The grid grows alongside it too, expanding from 4x5 up through 5x6 and 6x7 to a full 7x8, more positions and a bigger multiplier arriving together. That combination is the route to the 6,250x max win.

Like every Kingdoms Rise game there's the token metagame: tokens collected during play are spent in the shared Feature Shop, where you can buy the Magic Wins or other features outright across the series. Three shared progressive jackpots also drop at random in the base game, though they read "Unavailable" in the free Playtech demo since progressives only pay for real money.

One honest note on the numbers: the headline 96.49% RTP includes the jackpot contribution, and the base return without it is nearer 92.5%. Paired with that very high variance, this is a dark, feast-or-famine slot, so the demo is the right place to see how the expanding Magic Wins actually play out before you risk real money on the dry spells.
