About Kronos Slot
Kronos has one rule that flips the standard payline logic, and it sits on the top symbol only. The stern bearded Kronos portrait is the single icon on these reels that pays in both directions, evaluated left-to-right from reel 1 and right-to-left from reel 5. Every other paytable symbol, the Pegasus, the Parthenon, the gemstone card faces, only counts left-to-right. So a Kronos combo gets two shots at a paying line on the same spin, which is a quiet but real edge once the premium starts landing in stacks. Five of a kind on Kronos hits 750x line bet, and that's the ceiling you're chasing.
The way you actually reach it runs through the Lion Head wall ornament, the gold-relief Feature scatter that drops only on reels 1, 3 and 5. The trigger ladder is unusually steep for a 2012 release: three scatters open 10 free spins, four scatters jump to 25, and the full five-scatter set hits 100 free spins. Most slots of the era cap their free-spin awards in the 20 to 30 range, so 100 spins sitting in the top tier of the base trigger is unusually generous for the period. Inside the round every payline win doubles, the throne-on-clouds Wild stacks and expands across reels 2, 3 and 4, and the reel strips swap to an alternate set loaded with Kronos symbols stacked taller and more often. Three or more scatters during the round retrigger the same ladder, so a 5-scatter retrigger inside an already-running feature is the cleanest path to that 750x.
The other oddity is the split-symbol setup on the low pays. The Spade, Heart, Club and Diamond come in BIG and TALL half-symbol variants, and each half independently substitutes for the full card face. A half-spade landing above a half-spade in the same reel column completes the spade for the payline read, so partial stacks finish lines the way a full icon would. Visually the game leans land-based: 5x3 reels enclosed by an ornate golden Greek frame against a bright Mount Olympus cloudscape, royal blue reel backings divided by vertical Greek-key meander borders, the playing cards rendered as glossy gemstones with single droplet highlights. It's a 2012 G+ Deluxe cabinet from classic Greek mythology territory, and the direct ancestor of the later Kronos Unleashed.
