About Luck O' The Irish Fortune Play Slot

The leprechaun perched above the reels with a rainbow arcing across green meadows behind him sets the obvious tone, but the structural piece worth knowing is the big red Fortune Play button parked on the left of the grid. That's the entry to Blueprint's signature mode, and this 2017 title is the one that introduced the mechanic that the studio has since bolted onto dozens of releases.

Hit Fortune Play and the cost jumps to 20x your normal stake, with a minimum entry of 2.00. In exchange the screen splits into four independent 5x3 reel sets spinning at the same time, each one paying its own 20 lines. The catch that makes it tick: Mystery symbols are shared across all four grids. When one drops on any set and reveals a high pay, that same symbol transfers to the matching position on the other three. One leprechaun reveal can cascade into four full-grid wins simultaneously, which is where the 50,000x cap on this game actually becomes reachable rather than theoretical. RTP in this mode also nudges up slightly compared to the base game, which is unusual since most ante-bet features keep the math flat.

The base game without Fortune Play is fairly conventional Blueprint. Twenty fixed lines, the Wild covers everything except the Scatter, and three or more Scatters drop you into free games where sticky wilds and multipliers do the heavy lifting. Mystery symbols still appear here, just without the four-way transfer trick, so they reveal a single random icon per spin. Symbol-wise it's the standard royal stack of 9 through Ace in tinted colors, then blue, green and red gems, the pot of gold, and the leprechaun as the top pay.

Worth flagging if you're new to Blueprint's branding: Fortune Play and Fortune Spins are the same feature with different names, a UK regulatory rename. The mechanic later got refined in Luck O' The Irish Fortune Play 2, but the original is where the four-grid format actually started, and the engine here is noticeably older, faster spin animations, less polish on the bonus transitions, which some players prefer and others won't.
