About Mongol Treasures II: Archery Competition Slot

The whole game points at one thing: getting three or more scatters to land. They pay wherever they sit, scatter wins stack on top of any line wins, and three of them open the Archery Competition Bonus Game. But the count does more than trigger it. Three scatters set a x1 multiplier on the entire bonus, four sets x2, five sets x4, so the difference between a three-scatter and a five-scatter entry is the whole round paying out four times over.

The bonus is a hold-and-win round where the reels refill with Shields, Targets and Mongolian pattern symbols. Targets and Shields lock in place; pattern symbols keep spinning. You get three attempts to start, every spin burns one, and any Target or Shield landing resets you back to three. The round ends when attempts run out or the grid fills. Scoring is what makes it tense. Each Target is one arrow at the bull's-eye, and they're tallied at the very end against a prize ladder that stays flat for a long stretch then lurches upward: a fistful of arrows pays almost nothing, but 30 to 35 arrows jumps to 500x, 36 to 41 hits 1500x, and 42 or more lands the 4000x top. Shields pay on their own terms, each one a guaranteed prize revealed at the close, Gold worth 100x, Silver 50x, Bronze 25x. Everything gets summed, then multiplied by that x1, x2 or x4 from the trigger. It does not retrigger, so the one round is all you get.

There are no free spins anywhere in this one, and the Wild only shows up in the base game, substituting for the regular symbols but never appearing inside the bonus. If you'd rather not wait on the scatters, the Bonus Pop button buys the Archery Competition directly, with the cost tracking your stake. Those bought winnings stay locked out of the Risk Game, the four-card draw that doubles a win against the dealer up to ten times running. Three network progressive jackpots, Grand, Major and Minor, sit on top, drawn at random with bigger bets nudging the odds.

The board sits out on the open steppe under a hazy gold sky, rolling grassland behind it with distant hills, a yurt and tethered horses off to the sides. Premiums are steppe life rendered in soft painted detail, a dark horse, a light-brown one, a Mongol woman in a red headdress and a bearded archer, sitting above engraved 10 J Q K A royals on a parchment board. Warm sand and earthy brown throughout, sunlit rather than dramatic, which suits a game that saves all its tension for the arrow count.
