About Peter's Universe Slot
Take the Peter Pan story, then drop it into a neon city instead of a storybook forest. That's the odd move here. Glass skyscrapers climb under a starry sky, a glowing blue clock tower stands in for Big Ben, and the whole cabinet is chrome and pink-and-green neon with a gold sparkling logo overhead. Wendy shows up red-haired, Captain Hook sneers from the dark side of the lineup, the tick-tock crocodile snaps green, and the pirate galleon flies in doubling as a rocket. Below the high pays sit the usual neon A-K-Q-J-10 royals. It's a fairytale reskinned as sci-fi, and the mashup shouldn't work as well as it does.
The green Peter Pan figure carries double duty. As the fairy-style Wild he stands in for the standard symbols, and Peter himself acts as the Scatter that opens the bonus. In the base game a random feature can also fire on any ordinary spin, dropping a modifier without warning. There's a card gamble sitting over every win too, the standard red-or-black, guess-the-suit-for-more setup that doubles or quadruples before you bank it.
The bonus is the part worth playing for. Landing the Scatters starts the "Journey to Neverland," which plays out as a board game across a row of planets rather than a straight run of spins. Each space you land on hands you something different: a x7 multiplier, extra free spins, a Wild planted on reel 2, a Wild planted on reel 4, or a "Move 2 Paces" that jumps you further along the map. So the spins and the board feed each other, and a good run can stretch the round out while stacking modifiers as it goes.
During those free spins the Wild also upgrades to an expanding Wild, though only on reels 2 and 4. The other three reels keep the plain version, which caps how dramatic a single spin can get. And the ceiling is modest for a 2019 release, just 2,384.75x bet, so this is a game that rewards a long bonus far more than any one lucky line. No buy feature, no jackpots, no shortcut to Neverland. You land the Scatters or you don't.
