Play'n GO's Piggy Blitz from September 2023 collected cash coins on a 6x4 grid. Disco Gold, released November 2024, does the same thing in a disco-themed wrapper. Same 4,096 ways. Same Piggy Bank collection mechanic. Same Gold Piggy growing as unclaimed coins feed it. The disco lights and 70s aesthetic are new; the math model is familiar territory.
The paytable runs four card royals (10-K at 1.0x for six-of-a-kind) plus Ace at 2.0x, then three mid-pays (Poker Chip, Bell at 3.0x; Dice at 5.0x) and a top Diamond at 8.0x for six. Wilds substitute for everything except Scatters, Piggy Banks, and Cash Coins. Nothing here pushes boundaries.
Cash Coins land on the reels in three tiers: Minor, Major, and Mega. When a Piggy Bank symbol appears on the same spin, it collects all visible Cash Coins for an instant payout. Standard collect mechanic.
The twist: when Cash Coins land without any Piggy Bank present, they get absorbed into the Gold Piggy above the reels. The pig visibly grows as it accumulates coins. At any point during collection, the Gold Piggy can randomly award a prize ranging from 10x to 5,000x bet. You can't control when it triggers. Some sessions it pays early, others it barely fires at all. When two Piggy Banks land without Cash Coins, a re-spin kicks in to try landing coins for collection.
Three or more Scatters trigger a choice: Blitz Spinz or Free Spinz. Three Scatters offer 5 Blitz Spinz or 10 Free Spinz. Six Scatters push that to 20 Blitz Spinz or 25 Free Spinz. A mystery option randomly picks one for you.
Blitz Spinz focuses on Cash Coin hoarding. The grid becomes a collection playground where every spin tries to land coins for Piggy Banks to grab. The ceiling here is the 150x Cash Coin - landing multiple high-value coins with Piggy Banks collecting them builds the payout. Maximum 20 Blitz Spinz.
Free Spinz strips the grid down to Diamond (the top symbol) and royals only. No Cash Coins, no Piggy Banks. Instead, a multiplier meter and a 4-stage progression system take over. Collect 4 Scatters during Free Spinz to upgrade to the next stage, which adds bigger multipliers and awards 10 extra spins. Four stages total. By the final stage, every win carries a multiplier that makes even royal hits worthwhile.
The choice between Blitz Spinz and Free Spinz sounds strategic. In practice, Blitz Spinz caps out faster because Cash Coin values have a ceiling. Free Spinz has more upside if you reach stage 3 or 4, but getting there requires landing enough Scatters during the bonus - something you can't influence. Most sessions end in stage 1 or 2.
Medium volatility at 29.43% hit frequency means wins come often enough to keep the balance moving, but the 6,000x max win is modest by 2024 standards. The Gold Piggy's random 5,000x potential sounds impressive until you realize it fires unpredictably and most payouts sit far below that ceiling. Reviews describe it as an adequate sequel that doesn't improve meaningfully on the original. If you liked Piggy Blitz, the disco skin adds variety. If you didn't, nothing here changes the formula enough to matter.
