About Sugar Piggy Slot
A Pig-Themed Twist on Playson's Sugar Series
Sugar Piggy is the second entry in Playson's Sugar lineup, following Sugar Teddy x1000 from February 2026. Same maximum prize, same Super Scatter framework, different mascot. The candy palette stays, but a gold piggy bank steps in for the bear. The grid expands to 6x5, which is roomier than the 3x3 you might know from Playson's older Hold and Win catalogue. So is this just a reskin? Mostly, but the bigger grid changes the math in subtle ways.
How the Bonus Trigger Works
The base game is sparse on purpose. You spin candy symbols and wait for gold piggy coins to drop on the reels, each one printed with a cash value. Land 8 or more coins of the same color anywhere in view, and the Hold and Win bonus fires. From there, the rules follow the standard Playson template. All coins lock. You get three respins. Each new coin resets the counter back to 3. Collect every position and the game converts your total to a multiplier of the stake, with four jackpot pills sitting above the reels at 25x, 50x, 100x, and 5,000x. The Grand jackpot at 5,000x is generous by Hold and Win standards.
Two Buy Bonuses and an Ante Bet
This is where Sugar Piggy gets flexible. You can buy directly into the regular Bonus Game for one price, or pay more for the Super Bonus Game, which is the tier where the Super Coin lights up as a Wild substitute. The Playson runtime config exposes both buy tiers but does not show the exact prices in EUR. Players who want a softer route can toggle the Chance Booster instead, an Ante Bet that costs 1.5x the base stake and bumps the bonus hit rate. Three different RTP variants come out of one game: base 95.68%, Chance Booster, and the two Buy Bonus tiers. Most candy-themed Hold and Win slots only give you one RTP and one way to play.
The Big Catch
The 20,000x max win sounds dramatic, and it is, but the printed math tells you the truth. The full win is a 1-in-121-million event. That's volatility most players will only ever read about. Sessions on this game lean dry between bonuses, even with the booster on. If you'd rather have steady action, the older Piggy Power titles from Playson cap at 4,500x or 10,000x and hit more often. Sugar Piggy is built for the patient.
Worth Playing?
If you already enjoyed Sugar Teddy x1000, you'll be at home here. Same engine, same pace, same jackpot ladder. The candy art is bright, the gold piggy mascot is charming, and the dual Buy Bonus gives you flexibility most Playson slots don't offer. Just go in knowing that the 20,000x is a lottery ticket, not a target.
