About Red Hot Catch Slot
The 3,000x cap is the first thing to flag, because it puts Red Hot Catch on the modest end of Blueprint's cash-collect family. Sister titles in the wider Hot/Red Hot line push into 10,000x territory; this one trades ceiling for hit frequency. Lower top end, fatter middle. The grid is the standard Blueprint cash-collect layout with 20 fixed paylines, and the Collect tile only ever appears on reels 1 and 5 - the bookends. Wilds are restricted to reels 2-4, so the outer reels do specific jobs: reel 1 pays or collects, reels 2-4 substitute, reel 5 collects or pays. No reel does two things at once.
Collect mechanic works the way it does across the family. Cash Prize tiles land with values printed on them, fifteen tiers running from 0.5x bet up to 20x bet per tile. When a Collect lands on reel 1 or 5 alongside any Cash Prize on the grid, the Collect expands to fill its reel and pockets every visible cash value at once. The twist here is the Devil's Reel, which is what gives the title its character. Land a Collect together with a Devil's Reel symbol and a wheel pops up over the cave backdrop, climbing a ladder of cash outcomes from 5x up to 100x. Each Devil Face you land bumps you up a rung and grants a respin. A Pip ends the climb and pays the current rung. Reach the top in base play and the whole thing converts into a Super Bonus - 10 Red Hot Spins with all five enhancements active simultaneously.
Those five enhancements are the engine. Bonus Scatter symbols come in five colours, one per Progressive Bank, and each Bank filling either triggers the bonus directly or stacks an enhancement onto a bonus triggered by something else. Devil Fish adds a roving Cash Prize that hoovers up every visible cash value on the grid before the Collect even fires. Cash Inferno strips all line-pay symbols off the reels for the round - only Cash Prizes, Collects and Bonus Scatters land, nothing else. Super Collect attaches a multiplier up to x10 onto every Collect pickup. Cash Boost inflates the printed Cash Prize values by up to 5x. Devil's Respin locks every Cash Prize, Collect and Bonus Scatter in place and respins around them until nothing new arrives. Up to all five can run on the same bonus, which is the only way the 3,000x cap is realistically in reach.
The Express Bet panel sits on the right rail at 0.2x your stake on top of the base wager, so a $1 spin becomes $1.20. It buys trigger frequency on the Bonus Scatter and that's it. Line wins still resolve on the base $1. The right-rail toggle visibly lights up red when active so it's obvious which mode you're in. Random Hell Fire modifiers fire mid-spin in the base game - Bonus Boost seeds extra Scatters, Lucky Devil seeds extra Collects and Cash Prizes together, Wild Devil drops extra Wilds onto reels 2-4, and Burn 'Em Up converts a losing spin into a winning one outright. No buy bonus in the standard build, though Blueprint operator versions sometimes expose one separately. Symbols lean into the theme without restraint: a grinning cartoon red devil with a trident stands to the left of the reels, 7s and dice glow against a fiery red-purple cave wall, and the five Progressive Bank meters sit along the top of the grid as treasure chests labelled with each enhancement. Three Bonus Scatters always trigger; one or two can still drop you into 10 Red Hot Spins if the right Bank happens to be primed.
