About Reel 'Em In A Bit Fishy Slot

Reel 'Em In: A Bit Fishy is Light & Wonder's modern HTML5 take on the long-running Reel 'Em In series, originally a Bally/WMS staple that's now been rebuilt on the NOVA Core v4.0.2 engine. The art leans into a chilled tropical aquarium look: rippling caustic light over deep ocean blue, seaweed swaying at the corners, and a dark navy reel window edged in gold. Chunky 3D royals (9 through A) share the grid with a fishing hat, an orange landing net, and a green tacklebox stuffed with lures. The cartoon Shark stamped with WILD does most of the heavy lifting.

Mechanically this is where things get interesting. You've got a standard 5x3 main grid running 729 ways to win, but underneath sits a separate 4-position horizontal Reel of Fish that shifts left by one slot at the start of every spin, with a new symbol parading in from the right. That bottom reel can show Cash Fish (multipliers from 5x up to 200x your bet), a Swordfish, an Electric Eel, or just an empty slot. Fishing Rods landing on main reels 2 through 5 hook whatever sits directly below them. If the cell's empty, you get nothing. If a Cash Fish is parked there, you collect.

The Electric Eel is the real engine. Hook one and it becomes a growing Wild that fills its whole column, with wins multiplied up to x4. You can have two Eels active at once and their multipliers combine multiplicatively, which is where the math gets spicy. Free Spins trigger from 3+ Scatters, from hooking a Swordfish, or any combination of the two, and spin counts scale with the trigger. During Free Spins the Shark Wild can convert up to 5 random positions to Wild on a single spin. No retriggers, though.

RTP is 96.00%, volatility sits medium-high, and bets run $0.01 to $20.00. There's a Buy Pass for direct Free Spins entry where it's permitted. Honest caveat: Light & Wonder hasn't published a max win figure for this build, and the horizontal-reel parade does mean dry stretches when empty cells keep rolling past your Rods. But when an Eel, Swordfish, and Cash Fish all hook on the same spin, it pays out fast.
