Every Wild Fish you catch in Free Spins is a fork in the road. Keep it, and it locks onto reels 2-4 for the rest of the round as a 1x3, 2x3 or 3x3 persisting wild covering one, two or all three middle reels. Cast it back, and you take the cash value displayed on screen instead, with the fish removed from play. You cannot cast back on the final spin, so whatever's swimming when the timer runs out either stays or vanishes by force. That single decision, repeated across whatever Wild Fish you hook, is where the whole bonus lives or dies.

Wild Fish replace standard wilds during the feature and only land on reels 2, 3 and 4. Sizes scale: small covers one reel as a 1x3, medium covers two reels as a 2x3, large blankets all three middle reels as a 3x3. Multiple Wild Fish can stack on the reels at once if you keep them, and that's how the round builds toward a 1,015x cap. Standard wilds, by the way, don't appear during Free Spins at all and never land on reel 1 anywhere.

In the base game the Bait Ball random can fire on any spin and serves you one of three outcomes. Bad Bait gives nothing. Wild Bait drops 2 to 8 random wilds across reels 2, 3, 4 and 5. Bonus Bait places 1 or 2 Bonus scatters on reels 1, 2, 4 or 5, and because those scatters count toward the 3+ trigger, Bonus Bait can hand you Free Spins outright on its own. The scatter is a golden fish on a rustic-wood plaque and the trigger does not retrigger once you're in the feature.

If you'd rather not wait, Buy Pass spins you straight to a position with at least 3 scatters at a price shown in the panel. Adjusting the Buy Pass cost also shifts your main stake, so the two are wired together.
