About Spartacus Megaways Slot

Red theatrical curtains do something here that most reels never bother with: they hide part of the grid from you. At the start of every base spin, curtains drop over random reel positions and shrink the playing field, so you might begin a spin with far fewer than the full six reels of Megaways ways open. The way you claw them back is by winning. Each base-game win pulls one curtain off a random spot, opening another slice of the grid and adding more ways to win for the spins that follow. So a run of small hits gradually unveils the full arena, and a dead spin leaves the stage half-covered.

Wins also tumble. Winning symbols blow up and vanish, fresh ones drop into the gaps, and a single spin can chain into several payouts. A multiplier climbs +1 with each cascade in that chain, and there is no ceiling on it, which is where the longer sequences earn their keep. The wild lives only on the six main reels, never on the horizontal bonus reel running along the bottom, and it covers everything except the Amphitheatre scatter. In free spins those wilds stop being single symbols and stretch to fill their whole reel.

Four or more Amphitheatre scatters open the free games, but a wheel spin decides the shape of the round before it starts. It sets the spin count, anywhere from 6 up to 16, and locks in a starting curtain layout at the same time. That layout is the one you keep: it returns at the top of every spin rather than melting away like it does in the base game, so the bonus has a fixed character from the wheel result onward. Retriggers hold the same configuration. If you would rather not wait on four scatters, a Buy Pass drops you straight into the feature.

The art keeps the gladiatorial staging front and centre, deep reds and burgundy behind metallic-gold lettering, dark bronze accents and an opulent amphitheatre mood, with gladiators and tigers carrying the high pays and card royals, axes, swords and helmets filling the low end. It is the same Spartacus franchise that runs through L&W's earlier reels, including Spartacus Wonder 500, and it sits among the wider bench of gladiator slots in the catalog.
