Cascading Backwards

Most cascade slots remove winning symbols and drop new ones in. Stack'em does the opposite. Winning clusters stay put and drop to the bottom of the grid. Everything that didn't win gets cleared out. It's a small design flip that changes the entire feel of the game.

The 5x6 cluster pays grid needs 5+ connected symbols for a hit. Below each of the five reels sits a multiplier counter that tracks how many winning symbols have stacked in that column. Free Spins With a Growing Multiplier

Mystery boxes (the ? symbols) randomize the bonus progression. They award 2-5 extra lives, add 1 to 50 to the total multiplier, or multiply the current total by 2x through 5x. Getting a 5x multiply when the total multiplier already sits at 20 pushes it to 100 in one spin. That's where the 10,000x ceiling becomes reachable.
