About Sugar Merge Up

Nine symbol levels sit at the core of the merge mechanic. Four or more matching symbols adjacent horizontally or vertically form a cluster, pay out, and then partially upgrade into the next level. A cluster of four orange drops becomes two green triangles, which might immediately join a neighboring green cluster and cascade upward again. The chain keeps going until no new clusters form.

Level 8 is where things shift. When those top-tier symbols cluster, they collapse into a single Bubblegum that pops on contact, destroying eight surrounding symbols and upgrading any cell multipliers in the blast radius by one step. The Bubblegum then transforms into a Scatter. So the path to free spins runs through the merge chain itself - land enough low-level clusters in the right spots, and the cascading upgrades eventually produce Scatters organically.

Free spins hand out 12 to 30 rounds depending on Scatter count (3 through 6+). Every cell that participates in a winning cluster gets marked, and each subsequent win in that cell doubles its multiplier: x2, x4, x8, up to x128. Multipliers persist until the round ends, so late spins carry accumulated weight from early wins. Retriggering adds 5 spins.

Three buy bonus tiers shape the starting conditions: Sugar Joy (25x) gives a standard free spins entry, Sugar Euphoria (62.5x) pre-loads every cell with x2, and Sugar Boom (125x) detonates 3 to 9 Bubblegums before the first spin to seed multipliers across the grid.
