Everything around that engine is plain. Five reels, three rows, 15 fixed lines paying left to right, 96% RTP, high volatility. Five watches on a line pay 10x the line bet, which tells you where the money is not. The rhythm is short bursts. A Wild drops, the reels freeze, one column spins again, nothing arrives, and play moves on. That happens often enough to stop the session going flat, and it also means the large majority of respin chains die at length one. The runs where three or four Wilds pile up are the whole point of the game, and they arrive rarely enough that a deep chain shifts the balance in a way nothing else in base play can.

Free spins feel different, and quieter. Ten spins go by fast, and because the Sweet Feature reworks every dead result, the round produces a steady trickle of small line hits rather than sitting silent. It rarely produces anything large. For my money the bonus is the calmer half of this game and the base-game Wild chains are where it gets interesting, which is the reverse of how most slots are built.

One idea, executed properly. Sticky Wilds chaining respins with x2 multipliers stacking on top of each other gives Sweet Sugar a pulse its paytable would never manage alone, and Evoplay built the game around that single mechanic rather than bolting three more onto it. The yacht-party dressing is generic and the art is good, an odd but pleasant combination.

What is missing is a second gear. No buy option, no jackpot, no way to steer toward the bonus, and the bonus itself is over in ten spins. High volatility here means long flat stretches broken by respin chains that usually break early, and the 17,920x number belongs to a version of the chain that practically never happens. It still plays fine years after release. It just never surprises.
