About Tesla Jolt Slot

Two different Wilds run the show, and which one you see depends on which mode you're in. The base game Wild is the blue electric block on a wooden stand, and it lands on reels 2, 3, 4 and 5 to substitute for everything except the Tesla Scatter. The Charged Wild, the purple one on the Tesla coil, only shows up during Tesla Spins on reels 2, 3 and 4. Most slots reuse a single Wild design across both modes, so the visual split here is a deliberate signal that the free spins math behaves differently from the base round.

The base game has one trigger worth knowing. When the Tesla Jolt symbol lands on reel 5, it picks one of the symbol sets on the grid at random and converts every instance of it into a Wild. So if it picks the J's, every J on the visible reels becomes a Wild for that spin, plus the Tesla Jolt symbol itself converts too. That's the entire base game special. It hits sporadically but tends to land workable boards when it does, since the converted set sits across all five reels rather than being limited to a single position.

Tesla Spins is where the design gets interesting. Three, four or five Nikola Tesla portrait Scatters award 10, 15 or 20 free spins. Wilds landing on reels 2, 3 and 4 don't pay out the way they would in the base game. Instead they get collected on a charge meter under that reel. Once a reel hits three charges the Wilds discharge and slam back onto the reel for the next spin. The Time-Lapse Trigger symbol that drops on reel 5 short-circuits the whole thing: it forces every collected Wild on every reel to discharge at once, awards an extra 1 to 3 spins, and then turns itself into a Wild on the same spin. On the final Tesla Spin, every Charged Wild discharges regardless of whether the reels finished charging, and the Time-Lapse Trigger always awards the full +3 spins instead of rolling 1 to 3.

Visually it's Nikola Tesla's workshop, not the marketing version of it. The reel frame is a chalkboard scrawled with electrical formulas held up by exposed copper wires, the JESLA JOLT wordmark is carved into a wooden plank with brass nails above it, and the room behind the grid sits on a black-and-white checkered marble floor with a Tesla plasma ball perched on the right and a window opening onto a stormy mountain horizon. Symbol art keeps the inventor's-bench language going with a brass mechanical generator, an Edison filament bulb, a Tesla coil with spark gap, and an old electrical plug, while the card-rank lows are bent from copper wire and burnt into wooden tiles. The whole presentation pre-dates the studio's x-mechanic era and sits in the same family-friendly historical-figure corner as Wixx, before the catalogue pivoted to the horror and slasher themes it's better known for now.
