About Thunder vs Underworld Slot

Pick your volatility before each spin. Thunder runs High, Underworld pushes to Very High - and you can flip between them freely, no lock-in. The grid, the paylines, the symbols all stay identical across both modes. What changes is how often the free spins trigger and how hard the swings land when they do. Underworld fires less but pays steeper on average. Thunder hits more frequently with tighter returns. It is one of the few slots where you actively choose your risk profile on a spin-by-spin basis, sitting alongside Zeus vs Hades in that same dual-mode lineage.

Wilds land on any reel and immediately expand to fill the entire column. Once expanded, each one gets assigned a random multiplier - anywhere from 2x up to 100x, with stops at 3x, 4x, 5x, 6x, 7x, 8x, 9x, 10x, 20x, 25x, and 50x along the way. When two expanded wilds sit on the same winning payline, their multipliers add together. A 50x and a 25x on the same line means 75x applied to that win. Addition, not multiplication - but the range on each individual wild goes high enough that the combined numbers still get large fast. The buy bonus tiers split by mode: Thunder offers 75x for Standard and 300x for Special, while Underworld's Standard costs 150x (double, because Very High volatility carries more upside). Both Special tiers cost 300x and guarantee at least one expanded wild with a multiplier already on the grid when the round opens.

Three scatters across reels 1, 3, and 5 award 10 free spins. No retrigger. But every expanding wild that lands during the round sticks to the grid for all remaining spins, multiplier intact. Spin 2 drops a 10x wild on reel 2 - it stays. Spin 5 adds a 25x on reel 4. By spin 7, you could have three reels locked with permanent wilds, and any payline threading through multiple sticky columns gets their summed multiplier. That accumulation across 10 spins is how the 15,000x ceiling becomes reachable.

The paytable itself is flat. Five low-pay card symbols all share identical values, two mid-tier symbols sit above them, and two high-tier symbols top out alongside the wild. None of those raw payouts matter much on their own - the math here lives almost entirely in the sticky wild multipliers stacking during free spins.
