About Tomahawk Slot

Tomahawk frames its 5x3 grid between two towering carved-cedar totem poles, eagle, bear, and whale faces stacked vertically with "MAX WAYS 243 WAYS" running down their spines. Behind the reels you get snow-capped peaks, a turquoise river, pine forest, and a small teepee encampment on the right. The logo sits up top in distressed red-blood lettering with a small tomahawk-axe overlay. What I appreciate here is the restraint, the Pacific Northwest Indigenous art reads as respectful rather than caricature. Card values aren't even card values, they're rendered as four elemental letters (stone, fire, water, cloud) tied to cardinal-direction spirituality. Committed thematic work for a 2013 build.

The math runs on 243 ways to win, not paylines, which still trips up some players. Land 3, 4, or 5 matching symbols on adjacent reels starting from the left, anywhere on those reels regardless of row, and it pays. No payline diagram to memorize. This is the only Max Ways slot in Genii's Saucify-era batch, everything else from that period sticks to lines.

The Brave Wild (a Native warrior with green war-paint stripes) subs for everything except the two scatters, pays itself 100 coins on a 5x line, and even rewards 2-of-a-kind on rare occasions. Three, four, or five Tomahawk scatters trigger 5, 10, or 15 free spins with a multiplier curve that's genuinely odd. Three or four scatters both give 2x. But 5 scatters jumps straight to 3x, no smooth 2x/2.5x/3x increment. And free spins can't retrigger, with bet locked for the duration, so the ceiling is hard.

The Dreamcatcher scatter triggers Totem Builder, a separate pick-until sub-game where you carve a 4-section totem pole and each section reveals a coin prize. The four picks sum to your total bonus win. The free spins multiplier doesn't apply here, worth knowing. Bet range is $0.25 to $31.25, which means the $0.25 minimum is a high floor for Genii's catalog (most start at a penny). No buy bonus, no gamble, and the RTP was never officially disclosed, frustrating but typical for a 2013 Saucify release.
