Below them come a six-shooter tied with a red ribbon, a fat golden clove of garlic, and four crucifix-daggers in red, blue, green and gold. The Scatter is a tiny haunted house on a wooden tile.

Where it wobbles is the Freaky Fiesta part. The key art sells a banquet of zombie chefs around candlelit cakes with an eyeball on a spoon and tentacles across the table, which is a far better idea than anything on the grid, and none of that Halloween dinner party made it into the game. The one nod on the reels is a bat-winged party horn, and yes, it looks as marooned as it sounds.

The base game ticks along quietly. Four low symbols paying the same small amount across 20 lines means a steady trickle of 0.20 and 0.40 returns, and the Wild paying from two of a kind stops the balance falling off a cliff, but none of that shifts a session. Play is really just watching for coins.

Which gives it a strange rhythm for a high-volatility slot. The tension is not in the spin, it is in the beat afterwards, when the coins are sitting there face down. Two of them is a shrug. Four with a x10 among them and the reveal genuinely matters.
