Four cyberpunk clans duel for dominance on a 5x4 ways grid. Unique VS Duel mechanic with multipliers up to 100x, Clash collect-and-battle bonus, and Conquest clan elimination.

Warrior Ways drops four color-coded clans into a neon-soaked Japanese city and lets them fight it out on a 5x4 grid with 1,024 ways to win. Red samurai, blue ninja, green armored fighter, orange monk - each clan has a high-paying warrior symbol and a low-paying weapon symbol. The cyberpunk anime aesthetic is strong: pink skies, glowing buildings, Japanese lanterns at street level, everything bathed in neon.
The paytable itself is flat. All four high symbols pay identically (1x bet for five of a kind) and all four low symbols match each other too (0.5x bet). That uniformity is intentional - Warrior Ways isn't about base paytable wins. It's about the Duel.
A VS symbol landing on reels 2, 3, or 4 directly between two opposing Clan Warriors triggers a Duel. One clan wins, one loses. The winning warrior's symbol replaces the losing clan's symbols on the grid - low symbols, high symbols, or both. Then the VS position itself becomes the winning clan's high symbol.
Each Duel carries two multipliers, one per warrior. In the base game these range from 1x to 100x. The winning clan's multiplier applies to all wins involving that clan's symbols after the replacement. So a 50x Duel multiplier combined with a full ways win of the winning clan's symbols creates a single-spin payout far beyond what the flat paytable suggests.
Only one Duel fires per spin. VS symbols only appear on the three central reels. Wilds don't appear in the base game at all - they're reserved for the two bonus modes.
Three Clash scatters trigger a two-phase bonus. The Collect phase has no paying symbols - just dead positions, VS symbols (reel 3 only), and Clan Multipliers (reels 1, 2, 4, 5). You start with 3 spins that reset to 3 whenever something useful lands.
Each reel corresponds to a clan: Red on reel 1, Blue on reel 2, Green on reel 4, Orange on reel 5. Clan Multiplier values (2x through 100x) accumulate above each reel starting from a base of 1x. An Epic Clan Multiplier on reel 3 doubles all four accumulated values at once.
When the Collect phase ends, the Clash phase begins with one spin per collected VS symbol. Every spin guarantees a Duel, and the accumulated Clan Multiplier values replace the standard Duel multipliers. If you collected three VS symbols and built Red's multiplier to 200x, every Duel involving Red applies that 200x. Buying Clash costs 100x bet.
Three Conquest scatters award 10 free spins with a brutal twist: clan elimination. Each clan has a banner that takes 2 hits. Lose a Duel, your banner takes damage. Destroyed banner means that entire clan's symbols get removed from the reels permanently for the rest of the bonus. Each CONQUEST symbol landing during the bonus adds +1 free spin, and each banner destruction adds +1 more.
The elimination math compounds. Four clans means 8 high/low symbols competing for grid positions. Remove one clan and the remaining three clans fill the grid more densely. Remove two and it gets aggressive. Wilds appear here too, substituting for any high or low symbol. Buying Conquest costs 400x bet - four times the Clash price, reflecting its higher ceiling.
The base game without a Duel triggering is underwhelming. Four clans sharing 1,024 ways on identical payouts means individual wins blend together. The 27% hit frequency keeps spins from going completely dead, but the wins tend to be tiny. Warrior Ways lives and dies by its Duel mechanic and bonus modes, and it doesn't pretend otherwise - the flat paytable and bonus-only wilds make that clear by design.
