Wild Hot 40 Blow is a flaming classic-fruit slot built on a dynamite WILD that detonates, stretching sideways to turn neighbouring cells wild across 40 lines. The gold star scatter pulls real weight too: five anywhere pays 500x. 96.27%, medium volatility, 1,000x top, plus a gamble and three mystery jackpots.

Wild Hot 40 Blow Slot Overview
A flaming fruit machine whose wild is a stick of dynamite. It lands, it goes off, and the blast spreads sideways into the cells beside it. That single idea carries the whole game.
Fazi built it on a 5x4 board with 40 fixed lines and the usual sevens-and-bells crew burning away over an orange fire backdrop. Bets run from eight cents to 40 a spin. Nothing about the layout is new and Fazi isn't pretending otherwise, so the dynamite is the reason to load this one instead of the dozen near-identical machines sitting beside it in a casino lobby.
The second way to get paid is the gold star, which lands anywhere and hands over 500x for five. That is a bigger scatter prize than most fruit slots bother with. Nothing sits behind it, though: no free spins, no bonus round of any kind.
Theme & Design
Loud, and meant to be. The reel panels are almost black inside a thin gold frame, floating on a wall of orange and red flame that reads like the inside of a furnace. Bundles of red dynamite sticks lie across both bottom corners, fuses lit and throwing sparks. Giant gold 40s stack down either side of the grid in case anyone forgets the line count.
Symbol art is a step up from older Fazi classic-fruit boards. Red sevens are cut like faceted rubies with a white outline and a glint along the top edge; the BAR plates are pressed gold; the bells have a proper clapper; and the fruit (deep red strawberries with a green crown, granny-smith apples, fat banana bunches) is shaded rather than flat. The logo splits the title in two, WILD HOT 40 in cool gold and BLOW in molten red. Sound is the standard Fazi chime set, and the game asks whether you want it on before the reels ever appear, which tells you roughly how many people turn it off.

Features & How They Work
The Blow Wild
The dynamite drops on any of the five reels and detonates. The blast pushes the wild onto the positions next to it, so one stick routinely turns two or three neighbouring cells wild in a single spin, and across 40 fixed lines a well-placed expanding wild in the middle of the board lights up a fistful of lines at once. It fills in for every symbol except the gold star. It pays on its own account too, 1x, 10x and 25x for three, four and five, which puts it at the top of the regular ladder.
Gold Star Scatter
Stars pay from wherever they land, no line needed, and the win is added on top of whatever the paylines already returned instead of replacing it. Three pay 5x, four pay 20x, five pay 500x. For a game with no bonus round attached to its scatter, 500x is a serious number, and it makes stars worth chasing on their own rather than as a countdown to a feature that never arrives.
Red or Black Gamble
Any win can be carried to the double-up card. Pick red or black: right doubles it, wrong wipes it and ends the round. You can keep laddering up to a 50,000 ceiling, and the prompt will interrupt autoplay when it fires.
Gold, Diamond and Platinum Jackpots
Three mystery progressives cycle through the meter under the reels, each fed by a slice of every bet placed on the network. They drop at a hidden point inside a set range, and larger stakes shorten the odds of being the spin that pulls one. The 96.269% return is quoted without them, so jackpot money sits on top of that figure rather than being carved out of it.

How Wild Hot 40 Blow Plays
It plays dry. A hit rate near 14% on a 40-line game is thinner than the format leads you to expect, and a lot of what does land is four bananas paying back a slice of the stake. The spins that matter are the ones with dynamite on the board.
And where that dynamite lands matters more than the fact it landed. On reel one or five, half the blast falls off the edge of the grid and the payout is a shrug. Somewhere in the middle three, with a decent symbol either side, is where all 40 lines suddenly read the same and the win counter properly rolls. So most of the tension in a session comes down to the geometry of one symbol, which is a thin thread to hang a game on, though it does hold.
The loop is short and repetitive by design, with the jackpot meter ticking over as the only suggestion that something larger might be waiting. The gamble card is the sole decision the game ever asks you to make. Restful or dull, depending on the hour.
Pros & Cons
Pros
- The dynamite blast gives a plain 40-line fruit board something worth watching
- 500x for five stars anywhere, stacked on top of line wins rather than swapped for them
- Three mystery progressives sit outside the quoted RTP instead of eating into it
- Eight cents covers all 40 lines at minimum stake
Cons
- No free spins, no bonus round, no buy feature
- A 1,000x ceiling is low even by classic-fruit standards
- Roughly 14% hit frequency leaves long flat stretches between dynamite spins
- Strip out the wild and it is hard to tell apart from the rest of the Wild Hot 40 shelf
Is Wild Hot 40 Blow Worth Playing?
The dynamite works, and a star scatter paying 500x from anywhere gives this a top end most fruit machines this simple never get near. Everything around those two things is standard Fazi: 40 fixed lines, a red-black card, three progressives on a cycling meter, and that is the lot.
Nothing builds. No meter fills, there is nothing to work toward, just spins and the hope of a well-placed explosion, and for my money that goes stale well before the 1,000x ceiling ever becomes the problem. Fazi does sell Wild Hot 40 Blow Booster for anyone who finds the base version too bare, plus a dice-symbol edition for players who prefer pips to fruit.
