About 3 Blazing Chilis: Hold & Win Slot

Picture a moustachio'd vendor in a Mexican mercado, sombrero tipped back, grilling peppers over an open flame while bunting flutters between adobe storefronts. That's the backdrop for this Octoplay release, which builds its entire bonus around three different chili variants stacked above the reels: Spicy (green), Hot (yellow), and Burns (red). Each one has its own progress meter, and which chilis you've collected on a triggering spin determines what happens inside the Hold & Win.

The base game itself is deliberately stripped back. Five paylines on a 5x3 grid, a standard Wild that subs everything except chilis, low-pay 10-through-A symbols sitting next to a couple of pepper-themed picture symbols. Chilis act as scatter cash drops too: green pays 1x your bet, yellow pays 2x, red pays 5x, and up to five can land on a single spin. Light stuff. The real engine is what they unlock.

Trigger the bonus and the reels strip down to chilis and empty cells only. You start with 3 respins, and any new chili that lands resets the counter back to 3. Symbols lock into position. Once a reel column fills completely, those chilis collect, clear, and the column starts repeating again, which is how high-count jackpot wins get assembled. The four jackpots are fixed at 15x for the Mini (15 chilis), 50x for the Minor (25), 250x for the Major (35), and 2,500x for the Grand at 40 collected.

Where it gets genuinely interesting is the chili effects. The variant active during your trigger changes what each respin does. Green adds 1x your bet to every locked symbol's value per spin, slowly inflating the pile. Yellow doubles a random locked symbol per spin, but only if it's currently below 500x (so it can't compound into the stratosphere). Red drops a whole bonus row of red chilis onto the grid, accelerating the path to those jackpot thresholds. Land your trigger spin while two or three meters are full, and multiple effects stack inside the same bonus.

That stacking logic is exactly what the buy menu sells. Double Chance at 1.5x your bet boosts trigger frequency, the standard Buy Hold & Win at 80x drops you straight into the bonus with whatever chilis you happened to collect, and the 150x Buy All Chilis option pre-activates all three effects at once. That last one is the headline pitch: 150x for green's drip, yellow's doubler, and red's bonus row all firing simultaneously from spin one. Max win sits at 3,817x, which lines up with hitting the Grand and squeezing extra value out of the cash-tile maths underneath it.
