About Age of the Gods: Mighty Midas Slot

The golden hand is what makes this one tick. It only turns up on reels 3, 4 and 5, and when it lands it reaches left: the symbol directly beside it becomes a Golden Wild. Not just that one tile, either. Every copy of that symbol currently on the reels flips wild at the same moment, so a hand next to a column stacked with green satyrs can wash a big chunk of the grid gold in one go. It sometimes drops Midas Multipliers onto the win as well.

The regular Golden Wild fills in for everything except the hand and the jewelled Fortune Wheel scatter, and five of them on a line ties King Midas himself for the top payout. Both hit 500x the line bet, which for a medium-volatility game is a healthy ceiling before you get anywhere near the bonuses.

Two or more scatters spin the Fortune Wheel, and instead of one free-spins round it hands you one of five coloured gems, each with its own reel set. Amethyst is the short straw at three spins. Amber and Sapphire both give five, though Sapphire is the one you want, since it seeds up to 65 extra wilds across those spins. Ruby stretches to seven. Emerald runs its own reworked free-spins mode. You don't get to choose, which is the mild frustration here: the wheel decides both how long you play and how the reels are rigged in your favour, and a plain three-spin Amethyst after two scatters can feel thin.

Above the reels sit the four Age of the Gods network progressives, awarded at random on any paid spin through a pick-a-coin round. In demo they read Not available across the board, so that ceiling stays theoretical until real money. The setting fits the greed theme perfectly: a sunlit Greek banquet hall in cream stone and gold, Midas raising his chalice while a fat toga-clad Silenus, a horned satyr and a laurel-crowned young Dionysus feast around him, roast chicken and purple grapes filling the low symbols.
