About All For One Slot
The Shield of Honor symbol does something most lines slots don't: it pays from a single occurrence on a payline. One golden castle shield in the right column, and any of the 25 paylines passing through that position pay out, even without two more castles to chain with. That same shield is also the Wild and triples every line it joins. Two stacks of Shield landing across the middle reels can detonate the board, which is how the 90,000x ceiling actually comes within reach on a game this old.
The Free Spins trigger is the other unusual choice. The Three Musketeers, d'Artagnan, Athos, Porthos and Aramis (plus the blonde Constance Bonacieux maiden), all count as Scatters TOGETHER. Three of any musketeer characters anywhere on the grid drop 8 Free Spins, and inside the round every win is automatically doubled. So a single Shield trip from the base round becomes a 6x line in Free Spins. Post-win, a double-or-nothing gamble sits on the rail for anyone wanting to push the tempo.
Art-wise this is the early Habanero style at full commitment. No card royals at all - the lows are a fruit basket of apples, grapes and a banana on a white plate, a pewter tavern mug, and crossed musketeer flintlock pistols with gold filigree. Mids are a violet sack of gold coins and a trumpet trailing a blue fleur-de-lis flag. Reels float over a sunny green meadow with two huge pine trees as side curtains, the half-timbered red-roofed houses of a French village stretched across the horizon, and the Jackpot Race timer ticking down across the top. A heraldic royal-blue shield with a golden castle hangs off in the corner, more period decoration than UI element. For a 2013 build, the decision to skip generic playing-card lows entirely is what dates it as Habanero's serious-theme era.
