About Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy Slot
The Cinema Reel is the whole reason this game exists. Land three Bonus scatters on reels 2, 3 and 4 and you get exactly one spin of that wheel. Where it stops decides everything. It can drop a flat cash prize, a fixed jackpot tier (Minor, Major or Mega), or fling you into one of four character-driven feature games. That gating mechanic is unusual on a licensed branded movie slot, and it gives every Bonus trigger a small jolt of suspense before the feature even loads.
Ron's Giant Free Games is the showpiece round. The grid stops being a flat 5x3 and physically expands to 5 reels by 19 rows with an alternate set of 117 paylines, running 6 free spins on a separate symbol set. Whammy! Free Games gives you 12 spins paired with a 12-step cash ladder pinned to the side of the screen; any Whammy! on reels 2, 3 or 4 pays the prize at the current rung, and any Whammy! anywhere on screen pushes the ladder up one step for the next spin. So a single bad-luck spin still banks progress.
Brick's Weather Wheels is where the headline 20,000x lives. It's a three-wheel cascade: Blue, then Green, then Red. Each wheel either pays a cash amount and ends the bonus or lands a "level up" that promotes you to the next colour, and the Red wheel finishes by applying a x2 to x10 multiplier to whatever you've collected. Sex Panther is the calmer one: 15 bottles, 3 starting picks, each pick adds cash and can reveal a +1 PICK, then a final packet hands out a x2 to x10 closing multiplier.
Outside the Cinema Reel the base game fires three random behaviours: mystery-stack reels that transform into a single symbol after they land, full Ron Reels swaps that run an alternate paytable with no Wild present, and the Baxter Wilds drop that fills reels 2 to 5 with 3 to 10 Wilds. The Wild substitutes for everything except the Bonus scatter and the Whammy!, and the art leans hard into 1970s San Diego: orange and blue colour blocking, that diagonal "NEWS TEAM" backdrop, and a hero band above the reels showing Champ, Baxter, Ron in his burgundy suit, Brian Fantana and Brick. The Hot Chocolate and "Afternoon Delight" cues sell the licence. Anchorman is © 2017 Paramount Pictures. All Rights Reserved.
