About Ancient Gong Slot
Every win runs through one of two multipliers, and which one you get depends on whether a Wild helped build the combination. Land a paying line with no Wild in it and the prize is simply doubled. Get a Wild in the mix and that doubling is thrown out for a random multiplier that can reach x20, so the same five matching frogs can pay wildly different amounts depending on whether the substitute showed up. With GameArt paying these as 243 ways rather than fixed lines, any matching icons on adjacent reels from the left count, and the Wild boost applies to whichever of those wins it touches.
The bonus is the gong pick, and it's a little more involved than the usual count-the-scatters round. Three, four or five Gong scatters send you to a screen of five gongs. You strike all five, and each one reveals a hidden value of 2, 3, 4 or 5 free spins. Those five reveals are added together for your total, so two players who both triggered on three scatters can walk away with very different spin counts, anywhere from ten at the floor to twenty-five if every gong hides a five. More scatters during the round retrigger the pick and stack fresh spins on top.
The symbols lean into Chinese wealth charms. A jolly Laughing Buddha, a gold three-legged money frog, an ornate vase, a bronze gong on its stand and a Chinese treasure junk fill the high end, with red-and-gold A through 10 royals doing the low-pay work. A gold coin doubles as the feature symbol. The reels sit inside a carved red-and-gold dragon border with "243 WAYS" banners running down both sides, set against a serene shrine at dawn over misty water, warm golds and imperial reds against soft dawn blues. Wins also feed the standard red-or-black card gamble for a double-or-nothing flip. There's no buy button here and no jackpot, so the gong pick is the only way into the free spins, and it stays a quieter, low-key spin between bonus hits.
